The current client's display offers little to none information about the units of the set, resulting in players learning about it during games, which I believe to be a bad alternative since it defers theorycrafting thus missing out in what I feel is a very important part of strategy games, or seeking it out in external webpages, such as tftactics.gg or lolchess.gg. However, I find this webpages to be sometimes... Source: over 1 year ago
Yeah I know bud, but who uses tftactics.gg over tactics.tools I played this comp 25 times a few days ago going from silver to platinum. Source: over 1 year ago
If you’re still getting to grips with the game, I’d recommend you and your partner to use https://tftactics.gg. Lots of comps which highlight general meta. Watching content creators helps with understanding. Source: about 2 years ago
Two days ago there was a post discussing if Senna reroll is good or not, which was based on base AD values taken from tftactics. Source: about 2 years ago
If tftactics.gg and mobalytics.gg and tactics.tools and I don't know how many other 3rd party websites can scrape compositions and item builds and their average ranks across MMRs from the public Riot API, you can bet your ass the internal Riot tools for data analytics are more powerful. You wouldn't know, but I bet any TFT team-member could look at the same publicly available data, see that there's multiple comps... Source: about 2 years ago
For example, a beginning, middle, and end team. Or a team variation per level. I can get all of this info and more on tftactics.gg. Source: about 2 years ago
Https://tftactics.gg/ is a great app/overlay you can use. Has pages for champion info, items, origins and classes, augments, etc. And stats for your profile. Also has a downloadable overlay while you play games. Source: about 2 years ago
Essentially we're trying to build an site to house a content focused TFT site. Sort of like tactics.tools or tftactics.gg but for created content. This includes articles, terminology, puzzles, theorycraft, written guides, understanding fundamentals and especially the events panel where we plan to develop a tool for listing all tournaments and events in TFT. I always use tftactics.gg or mobalytics.gg for comps. Maybe you can like choose some and write them down idk? Source: over 2 years ago
Every player in top4 is using a dragon build or lucked out on 3* astrals. How can I compete when I'm trying every other S or A tier build on tftactics.gg and coming 6th-8th because I refuse to meta slave and force the same thing 4 people are already building. Source: over 2 years ago
As far as augment strength, meta boards, items for each unit. Look at the stats in tftactics.gg, lolchess.gg, or another similar site. Source: over 2 years ago
Anyway yeah there's a lot to learn. Don't stress it too bad. It will come with time. Read what you can in-game in the descriptions, and if it still doesn't make sense, there's lolchess.com and tftactics.gg to help you out. Source: over 2 years ago
You don't need to 3 star units. It's much better to get a functioning comp with good synergies (check out tftactics.gg) and good economy to transition to late game. You generally only 3 star units when you're playing reroll comps (1 or 2 specific champions that will carry) You also want to focus your items on 1 carry and 1 tank usually, and if you're lucky then you have enough to give another champion 1 or 2 items. I rely mostly on those websites the decide my team (with some variations of course) and items: Https://tftactics.gg/ Https://app.mobalytics.gg/tft/team-comps. Source: over 2 years ago
Tftactics.gg already has this in their Match history tab. Shows you how many of each unit you were offered vs how many you took, with an extra column showing what star unit you could have hit. It's surprising how many 3* units you'll pass without knowing some games. Source: about 3 years ago
Use resources. Some of the best are Mobalytics, lolchess, tftactics for item recommendations (lolchess in particular has a great item trend tab which shows the most popular items on each champion), comp tier lists, and guides for said comps. The tft wiki is great for learning what all the champions, synergies, and items do. Source: about 3 years ago
I like to use following site: https://tftactics.gg to check out skills, synergies, items and building comps. I wouldn't care too much about tierlists though since those are "personal opinion". Source: about 3 years ago
Whenever I google something (basically "tft championname") most time I land on https://tftactics.gg Siple database for all champions and items, and traits,... Source: about 3 years ago
Tftactics! It's on overwolf so it's not the best but it's got actual builds based on match data rather than user submitted mobafire tier builds. Source: about 3 years ago
