  • Why doesn’t strava buy up the “strava sauce” plug-in for the web browser and incorporate everything in as a part of their paid subscription? Very interesting from the data analytics side. Seems like a super easy way for them to add value for paying customers. Link for reference…
Fair question. You can download data from strava or use a service like https://tapiriik.com to sync work outs between platforms. I used with success about 6 years ago to move all my data from runkeeper to strava. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Syncing Wahoo to Garmin Connect (ELEMNT BOLT/ROAM)
While this isn't specific to activities initially created by a Wahoo device; I've had success with both https://www.fitnesssyncer.com/ and https://tapiriik.com in synchronising data between services. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Join the "Running from the Texas AG Challenge" and help raise money to fight human trafficking!
They do have indoor rowing on strava. I use my garmin for it. You can also use the strava app to record "workout" since it's not listed as a specific activity. https://tapiriik.com/ is also a great way to sync activities across platforms. Source: about 1 year ago

If you're ever interested in making the switch, there are a few ways to migrate your data over to strava, including this official way: Https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216917737-Moving-your-activity-history-from-Runkeeper-to-Strava I had to cross the same bridge when I moved from endomondo to strava many years ago. • Tool to upload / sync GPX traces from Strava or Garmin

  • Auto sync heart rate from polar flow to garmin connect
Https://tapiriik.com/ will do it in a platform agnostic way. It doesn’t do Polar directly though so you’d need to set Polar Flow to sync to Strava, and then Tapiriik moves it to Garmin. Still automatic but it adds a hop. Source: about 2 years ago
  • I'm trying to do a bulk download from polar and import all the training sessions into Strava. However the bulk download of polar is in .json file format, while Strava only takes .tcx, .fit, or .gpx, is there a way to do this?
