There's also a newer section on adoptapet.com where you can list your own pet for "rehome" where people can apply to adopt the animal directly from you. Sometimes you can find clinics to help with vaccines in a community effort to make sure all animals have access to care. I hope it helps. Source: over 1 year ago
It took us around a month of stalking petfinder.com and adoptapet.com to find our goldendoodle! Like others said, they're really popular so keep a close watch on those websites. Also you may want to expand your search radius. We ended up driving over 7 hours round-trip to get our goldendoodle but we figured it was worth it to have a dog for 10+ years. Source: over 1 year ago
Op, make an ad for him on adoptapet.com If you go on there, there is a rehoming option. I've used it and it's pretty safe and more reliable people on there. Because he is a kitten, he should get snatched up pretty quickly. Source: over 1 year ago
Thank you for wanting to adopt a new pet! As a national animal advocacy organization, the HSUS does not operate local shelters nor have pets available for adoption. You may search online at Adopt-A-Pet.com, Petfinder.com and at the websites of local shelters and rescues for pets available for adoption near you. Source: almost 2 years ago

Does she have cat scratchers, toys, beds? She needs a another cat, lots of play time OR you need to find an animal rescue group and get her a home she deserves. Try adoptapet.com to rehome her. Source: about 2 years ago
There are several beautiful adults on Petfinder. I searched by breed, "Standard Poodle". Might be some if you search poodle as well. I looked at a couple and one was $450. Not sure why that rescue has such a wide variety of adoption fees. Looking further out might help. Also, try rescueme.org. adoptapet.com and petango.com. Source: about 2 years ago
Check out adoptapet.com if you're serious about getting a dog. Just know that it is a real life full-time commitment. Please do NOT get a dog if you don't have the time, energy and money it takes to own a dog. Or the love. Source: about 2 years ago

Please do not take him to a shelter. They are over run right now and more than likely he will be put to sleep. Be responsible and find him a good home. I suggest adoptapet.com that is where I got my cat from. You can screen adopters on there and it's safer than say Craigslist. It's fine if you just don't like cats, but he deserves a home with someone who will love him. Source: over 2 years ago
I can't speak to breeders but if you're considering the rescue route, check out adoptapet.com and petfinder.com. Also be sure to check rescues for poodles, doodles, and golden retrievers. It took us about a month of looking before finding our goldendoodle on adoptapet.com. Source: over 2 years ago
Ask around at rescue organisations, and check sites like Petfinder.com or adoptapet.com . Scroll through the kitties available in your area - most have photos, so you'll be able to see the cats and their markings. Depending on where you're located you might have to wait for a little while for a gray/silver tabby to come up. Source: over 2 years ago
Real talk: Rehome the dog. You don't have the time, money, or energy for him right now and it's negatively impacting you both. If you go to adoptapet.com you can search for rescues in your area that will take him. In the future, if you decide to adopt another dog, maybe consider getting an older dog with less energy. Your dog is destructive because he's bored. Source: over 2 years ago
Someday I will have to get another dog. I look at adoptapet.com every day. It's heartbreaking, all of those dogs without a happy home. Source: over 2 years ago
What really gets me now is all the "Covid" dogs, adopted (or purchased from breeders) during the pandemic ----- and how those dogs are now being relinquished to shelters and adoption agencies. Look at "Pets" on Craigslist, for instance. Or adoptapet.com ------ it's dismal to see all of the one to three-year old dogs up for adoption. "Busy work schedule" or "Can't give him enough time now" are the big excuses for... Source: over 2 years ago
