Yup and the things they don't "invent", like the status page from status.io, it's poorly implemented. It took so long to get this basic page up with a complete garbage process. Source: over 3 years ago
Also weird given that Twitter is using 3rd-party service which apparently doesnโt even automatically log and post know downtime issues; service being: https://status.io/ (Assuming this is more of a the siteโs not down unless the CTO says it is services.). - Source: Hacker News / over 3 years ago
Only if status.io had some type of automation that could tie into another product like ConnectWise Automate.... Source: over 3 years ago

Very much possible, most server status services (status.io, etc) let you create webhooks to notify you. You just need to send the request to your Gumball unique URL and boom it turns on! It's possible with Zapier, integromat, or even directly from your own code (just send an HTTP request to your Gumball URL address). Source: about 4 years ago
Just changed the set up 5.8dbi lmr /kmr 200 cable and its now at peek of attic. Still says relayed on the explorer even tho on status.io its "like a pro" and pings and says not relayed. Source: over 4 years ago
It would be an external monitoring service that tracks API documentation completeness, versioning, uptime, speed, scalability, and security. Kind of like status.io, but specifically tailored for API products. Source: over 4 years ago
Check helium status .io ! I just checked the magicthegatheringarena.statuspage.io page and it shows they are in maintenance right now. That is why. Not sure why it allowed me to login and open a pack? That shouldn't happen if there is maintenance. Source: over 4 years ago
Only other discrepancy I notice is that on heliumstatus.io my Observed Listen Address (ip4/..../tcp/44158) is different than the API Reported Address (p2p/....). Could this be part of the issue? Source: over 4 years ago
I mean why are you guys not creating a service status page? It would be so convenient and would prevent us from panicking. Status.io or similar service like this. Source: over 4 years ago
ITG run status.io which hooks into webhooks to update. Those little graphs you see on screen? Yeah, those are automatic. An update might not be posted automatically, but the information is real-time. Source: almost 5 years ago
Do you think there is room for another Uptime Robot, status.io, or Statuspage of Atlassian. Some of them have steep pricing schemes, limited feature sets, etc. Source: about 5 years ago
Now I tried again, thinking the status.io page is all green for Newton, and now its been almost one day again and no response at all. Source: about 5 years ago
Interesting...for the life of me I can't figure out why someone doesn't start a status.io like service with a wire/monero base. Near perfect anonymous communication, language value communication. No meta data, server logs or record of transactions. Group chat, tips, transactions. I'm on the monero IRC watching and looking for someone who is trying to do this, but I don't see it. Status.io is generally well-regarded in the industry for providing a robust platform designed to create and manage status pages. These pages are critical for communicating the operational status of IT services, APIs, and websites to stakeholders such as customers and users. The service finds itself categorized alongside other similar products, like Atlassian's Statuspage, Better Uptime, and UptimeRobot, among others.
The platform is acknowledged for its flexibility and comprehensive feature set, which includes functionalities to display uptime metrics, response times, and various operational statistics. Notably, the status page for Docker is powered by Status.io, affirming it as a viable choice for prominent technology companies. Users recognize its ability to effectively mass notify clients about potential or ongoing outages, indicating its utility in high-stakes environments, such as Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
However, a significant point of critique centers around Status.io's pricing. Its basic plan is priced at USD 948 per year, excluding certain features like SMS notifications and HTTPS encryption. This relatively high price point is reportedly a deterrent for smaller entities such as bootstrapped startups and individual freelancers who might not have substantial budget allocations for status monitoring tools. The perception of cost as a barrier reinforces the notion that Status.io and its competitors are more aligned with the financial capabilities of larger, VC-backed organizations rather than smaller businesses or individuals.
In terms of integration capabilities, Status.io allows the creation of webhooks, which can be tied to automation tools like Zapier or Integromat. This functionality is appreciated by users seeking to develop bespoke workflows and automated notifications that interact with other systems. Its user interface is perceived as straightforward, and users note the flexibility it offers relative to its cost.
While generally positive, user feedback on the execution and implementation of Status.io can vary. Some users express frustration with onboarding processes or the timeliness of updates when issues occur in services utilizing Status.io pages. Automation and real-time updates are appreciated, but there appears to be room for improvement in the consistency and reliability of these features in some users' setups.
Overall, Status.io stands out as a robust tool in the status page market. It enjoys a good reputation for functionality and ease of use. However, its pricing strategy might limit its accessibility to a broader audience, particularly smaller enterprises and independent developers. Enhanced affordability, combined with streamlined feature accessibility, could significantly broaden its appeal and usability across diverse business scales.
