   I created Spowlo, an app that allows users to download songs from Spotify using a Python library called spotDL. I learned a lot from online tutorials and videos, and I wanted to make an app that was easy to use, user-friendly, and had a modern UI with Material Design 3 style and dynamic color theme. I also added features such as embedding synced lyrics, downloading full playlists, and searching songs without links.

   I built Spowlo using the following primary technologies:

   • Python: I used Python as the main programming language for the app, as it is versatile, easy to learn, and has many libraries and frameworks for various tasks.
   • spotDL: I used spotDL, a Python library that can download Spotify songs from YouTube with metadata and album covers. This library is the core of Spowlo’s functionality, as it allows users to download any Spotify song or playlist with high quality and accuracy.
   • Kivy: I used Kivy, a Python framework for creating cross-platform applications with a native feel. Kivy enabled me to design a user-friendly interface with Material Design 3 style and dynamic color theme. Kivy also has many widgets and modules that helped me implement features such as embedding synced lyrics, searching songs without links, and displaying progress bars and notifications.
