...any chance you can set up or hang a mirror to reflect the window's natural light into the room? A bright lamp, posters or a colorful lightweight fabric would help a lot. A plant near the window and bright, light, patterned or textured cover for the bed/pillowcases. Check out society6.com, where you can find tapestries that you can search by color, style, etc. And they're always running significant sales on... Source: 5 months ago
I've bought two over the years from Society6, one for my living room and one for my WFH office. There's probably tons of other websites for these, too. Source: 10 months ago
The legos are awesome. Maybe a few pictures/posters on the walls. I enjoyed Society6 or even Etsy when picking posters for my apartment. Source: 10 months ago
I have quite a few items from Society6. Some posters, tapestries and even a bath mat. They often have sales, so you can get stuff fairly cheap. And I like knowing that at least a portion of my money ends up with the artist. Source: 10 months ago
I’m a big fan of society6 as they work with artists and from what I understand pay them fairly. Source: 11 months ago
“I think the move towards ‘more’ is because practically there’s only so much you can do with a minimalist aesthetic; It’s beautiful, but it really limits your color palette and design options,” says Stephanie Dixon, editorial director at Society6. Source: 11 months ago
A lot of it is my own and the rest are collage art from Society6. The Invisible Realm is one of my favourites too. Source: about 1 year ago
You should really look into selling your work on https://society6.com/. You can turn your canvases into phone cases, blankets, framed photos, pillows, or other stuff. Source: about 1 year ago
For years - whenever I go to society6.com - I have to refresh to get all the categories to appear at the top. If I was a customer, I wouldn't know to do this. When you click on "window curtains" (which was changed to the Sheer & Blackout options years ago) - it shows "page is not available" If I didn't frequent this site, I would be so confused. I like society6.com, but I'll bookmark this thread for the local suggestions. Did see some cool stuff the last time I went to the Uptown Art Fair, but I was only carrying beer and taco money, not art money. Source: about 1 year ago
Society6 is another well known one: https://society6.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that. Please go back to making art and music. You could upload your artwork on sites for profit. I think society6 allows it. If someone purchases it then great, if not, it’s okay too. Look up YouTube channels like hook and look at their motivational videos like the Disney one they created. Source: over 1 year ago
