I also occasionally use schoolhouse.world for free tutoring/study groups if im having trouble grasping a concept or need motivation for work. Source: 6 months ago
Hi, short-time lurker here. I am applying to MIT, and in the portal, it asks for a schoolhouse.world certification. I technically am, but only in one subject, and I haven't done any tutoring. So my question is should I certify myself in more subjects, tutor more, and/or don't put it at all? Source: 8 months ago
It appears schoolhouse.world is IPV6 only resolvable. Pihole searches in ipv4 and doesnt open this address at all. Source: 11 months ago
In addition to Khan Academy, https://schoolhouse.world/ looks like it could be a great resource for you. It is free tutoring connected to KA. Source: about 1 year ago
Tutor, schoolhouse.world - finally, something specific. I was one of the first 200 tutors on this platform. Check it out! The mission is really cool and it's founded by Sal Khan (Khan Academy). Source: about 1 year ago
It doesn't matter what SAT you take, the topics covered are the same. I would say finish Khan Academy, and join a course at schoolhouse.world. They have plenty of math tutors (completely free of charge) who can get you up to your target score. I don't see why you can't get to 800; You have exactly a month until the May SAT, so get the prep going! Source: about 1 year ago
For reading and writing, honestly not much (đŸ˜). I drilled grammar concepts on Khan Academy and took past papers every Saturday to practice. I really enjoy reading, so I just read a few more books that I'd consider complicated (but fun to read!). I also took a (free) SAT bootcamp at schoolhouse.world, which helped me strengthen a few grammar concepts and also allowed me to practice answering questions on reading... Source: about 1 year ago
The one thing I will say is that the SAT is formulaic, especially the math section. Drilling problems and concepts over and over is a surefire way to quickly improve by a large point margin. For math, I would recommend the CollegePanda workbook ($30 -https://www.amazon.com/College-Pandas-SAT-Math-Advanced-dp-1733192727/dp/1733192727/ref=dp_ob_image_bk). However, if this is too expensive, I *highly* recommend... Source: about 1 year ago

The only certification I have ever seen asked for is the Schoolhouse.world certification from https://www.uchicago.edu/admissions/ at the bottom of its supplemental and free. I would be very cautious of anyone charging you money. Source: over 1 year ago
Schoolhouse you can sign up on this website to tutor people for free, but I'm not sure about how many Indian students are in this platform, if you want to teach based on the CBSE/ICSE/state curriculum. Source: over 1 year ago
The editors could add the conversation hubs such as local meetups, Scratch, free4talk, Schoolhouse.world, discord, Zoom, Jitsi, Eventbrite, or Reddit on the article talk page and a central calendar or on the site annotation (hypothes.is). Linking to the existing meeting sites with facilitator present and safety measures would lower the risks. Source: over 1 year ago
A solution could be creating a pay-what-you-want remixable space where people could search, donate to, and interact with the open resources and each other via collaborative editing and discussions. The closest I found are Amazon Ignite, Gumroad, TeacherPayTeachers, MOOCs, Scratch, OER Commons, GitHub Sponsors, itch.io, Roam, Learning Webs, Schoolhouse.world, Patreon, Anagora, and Wiki. Out of these, Wiki is the... Source: over 1 year ago
