  Also, raspberrypi.org does not list any gamepads at all. Are you thinking of thepihut.com or pimoroni.com ? Hopefully you didn't get swindled. I personally recommend iNNext or Kiwitata from Amazon as they're cheap and decent. Source: almost 5 years ago

• I think my laptop (Ubuntu 16.04 LTS) does not use hardware video decoding or hardware acceleration in general. Any help?

  Personally, I have a similar laptop with a celeron n3060/4GB. The best distro I could find is called raspbian for Pc and Mac (from raspberrypi.org) and it runs great with hardware video decode in chrome and VLC. Source: about 5 years ago

  I streamed 1080p lossless Blu-ray rips on a J series for years (212J, then 416J). The issue is you won't be able to convert any files on the fly with the J series NAS, which is fine if you know what you're doing, and have a device on your TV that can do the conversion for you. • Powering a raspberry pi 4 on a powerbank?

  Depends on what you are doing...USB loading, etc. Many power banks are poorly regulated...voltage drops off as load increases so long as they can charge a phone battery (4.2 volts down to ~3.3) so they tend to drop below the RPi's narrow limit. Most of the time, the 4 will work with 2A but only if the volts are in range. The RPi won't blow up with an undervoltage...just won't work...may not even boot. See the... Source: about 5 years ago
