  No. Just click manual install. You'll have a little blue icon on your desktop. Create your profile. Install your mods and then at the top left click on Start Modded. Et voila. I suggest creating a new character and world or else you risk corrupting the file for your current world/character. Also any explored map will not update with whatever mods you use.   If you're not using a modmanager already you could consider using R2Modman. This would allow you to easily make multiple mod profiles and share them with friends using a hash code. It's also a great way to create backups of your existing configs. Source: over 3 years ago

  This is my mod and I appreciate the link. I have a full featured version too called No Smoke Stay Lit. Both on Nexus and the Thunderstore.   Thunderstore and Nexus are the two main mod websites. Manual installation is pretty easy, just need to install BepInEx and then you just drop in mod files into a specific folder.   Mods are not terribly difficult to setup, but I highly recommend a mod manager app like r2modman to make it much easier to find, install, enable, disable, and upgrade mods.
