They’re based in Switzerland which has extremely strict privacy laws, and Quad9 protects your privacy too with no logs, etc., while blocking malware, phishing, dangerous sites, etc., before they even hit your network.   This might be a longshot, but have you tried a different DNS resolver? If you're using the one from your ISP, I'd suggest switching to something more reliable since they tend to be rather flaky at times. Quad9 is a good option. - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago

  Cloudflare is a trustworthy company (generally) but I've pivoted over to Quad9 because its filtered lists are surprisingly effective and it's actually approved by Apple to issue DNS over HTTPS certificates.   2 - I don't trust Cloudflare anymore. It collects logs and IP and isn't any privacy-friendly.   At the very least, I'd setup DNS-over-HTTPS/DNS-over-TLS. Something like Quad9 or AdGuard, are worth looking into. VPNs are another great option, with more security, and DNS built in. There are tons of crap providers, but the only free option worth looking into is Proton. Do note. All these services have free options. • Bravia Core VPN, Proxy IP, Anonymizer Issue Has anyone encountered this issue and put on for any solutions? I have a Sony X90J wirelessly connected to TP-Link Archer A6 router. All other streaming apps work fine and I can play trailers in Bravia Core but I am unable to stream any movies.

  Who is your ISP? Have to talked to Sony Support? Have you tried changing the DNS settings on the router to something like CloudFlare, Google DNS or Quad9? Have you tried restarting the router? Restarting your ISP modem? Restarting the TV by holding power button on remote for 5 seconds? The most egregious way is lack of proper NXDOMAIN results where if you enter an invalid request instead of responding with an error message they send you to an awful ad ridden search page.
