Real easy to use-- at first. As time went on it got harder and harder to get it to work. Finally it 'lost' my password, so I couldn't use it, and 'Support' never got back to me; but they did send me a 'customer satisfaction survey.' Hah!

    👎 Cons:    No customer support!

  • Privacy.com making me apply for a charge card?
I went to change my card that I use to fund privacy.com cards and there was no option to use a card anymore, just connect to my bank via Plaid. Apparently they had my account categorized as a business account. They switched it back to a regular account and I can now use a debit card to fund the account but now all of a sudden I have to update my account and apply for a charge card with another bank. • Privacy.com temp credit card for the trial period
I am wondering if others have used https://privacy.com/ to set up their radio, so when the promo period ends, one can just cancel the temporary card, rather then deal with the cancelation runaround over the phone or through chat. Source: about 1 month ago
  • Charged $1600 USD for shipping fee?
Next time, use a service like privacy.com with a spending limit so that you avoid situations like this. Source: about 1 month ago
  • virtual **debit** card provider?
I already use privacy.com, but they switched from debit cards to credit cards a while back. Most 'virtual card' providers I've seen so far appear to be processed as credit cards. Source: about 2 months ago
  • Credit and Debit Card not working on Huurportaal.nl
As in the title above none of my credit or any debit card (yes international banking is turned on in card settings) is working on the https://huurportaal.nl/en website as the bank is declining the auto deduct request from the site, is there any way from were I can buy the premium account in https://huurportaal.nl/en with registering for autopay or similar stuff, I guess a virtual credit card like from... • Bought my first laptop for my education after years of being homeless, hope I invested my money right.
CS is computer science. Also check out edx.com It is hosted by Harvard and if you pay for the course which is very little you get a certificate from them. There is also groupings of courses were you can get a business certificate. Also check out udemy.com. Wait for the specials for $10-15. I have heard that google has certificates that are free but that businesses except. Just try stuff and even look at skills... Source: 3 months ago
  • AutoPay Discount going away at the end of this month.
If your worried about cards getting stolen I can recommend checking out https://privacy.com/. Source: 3 months ago
  • LPT: If you tend to forget to cancel your subscription services (streaming, magazine, gym) then sign up to services with a temporary credit/debit card instead
Services like https://privacy.com/ are amazing. I use virtual cards for paying for basically everything online. Another benefit is if a company you bought something from gets compromised (or if your account for that company gets hacked) the card is easy to close/dispute and pretty useless because it can only be used at that retailer and can have spend limits set. • PC Gamepass $1/£1 trial is back again
Https://privacy.com/ not a referral link. Source: 3 months ago
  • is there an equivalent service to privacy.com in morocco ?
If you don't know what privacy.com, it's a service that let you create one use virtual cards that you can use shopping online with some really good security features, I've did some research and these services are not available in morocco, do you guys know if there's a similar service here in morocco ? Do any of our big banks offer this service ? Source: 3 months ago
  • LPT: Use a virtual card for subscription trials and other canceled services.
Thanks OP. I was going to sign up at privacy.com but then it's asking for the last 4 of my social and the nervousness set in. I'm going to read the T&C closely before I continue with this. I see another user below mentions Capital One does this too, so I may look into that as well. Source: 3 months ago
  • What is the modern-day equivalent of "snake oil"? In the past, we encountered numerous deceptive remedies. What are the contemporary counterparts?
There's also privacy.com - or something like that, but I'm sure it's not hard to find. Links to your real card and gives you a new card number and lets you set how much it can pay out. Source: 3 months ago
  • Free VPN's for Stremio?
Can't you use, say, privacy.com to create a virtual credit card number with a made up name and address to pay for RD? Source: 3 months ago
  • How?
True there. Or alternatively just use a service like privacy.com where you can setup a unique CC for a service, limit the max charge or expiration date or just cancel the virtual card any time. Subscription problem also solved. Source: 3 months ago
  • Card # stolen 9 times in a year
Have you tried using a disposable card number from privacy.com? That could maybe help you trace where the card vulnerability is coming from. Source: 3 months ago
  • Lets end the chat who cares.
Or use privacy. The free tier gives 10 pseudo cards/month. Source: 3 months ago
  • Checking account alternatives with APY
I think the problem with Robinhood, for me anyway, is that they charge a 1.5% for using an external debit. I was using M1 through privacy.com I don't like giving out real account/number/etc and like the way privacy tracks things per account, etc. Would kind of complete the circle if I went back to Robinhood since that was where I was when I moved to M1. • Sites like Privacy.com
I want to create a virtual/disposable credit card, such as the services offered by privacy.com, to avoid giving my card info to untrustworthy sites. As the aforementioned site is not available outside the US, I was wondering if there were any similar alternatives. Source: 3 months ago
  • Starlink just charged my credit card 35 times for over $38k, and I'm not even a customer..
Https://privacy.com/ will let you create virtual credit card numbers with custom expirations, custom limits, whitelist who can charge to it etc. You can cancel the virtual card at any time. Killer service for dealing with companies that make it hard to cancel services or when you don't want the risk of someone stealing your cc number. Source: 3 months ago
  • Managing Emails/Phones
I have not included medical situations and regular banking. I am not aware of how easily avalible my information is to bank/hospital employees and how someone with a certain level of influence could request or social engineer their way to get info on me. I have more than one bank account but my spending money is always on a service similar to privacy.com where I use virtual cards. For this I use Email #0 but... Source: 3 months ago
