On and off. I distinctly remember testing some of my posts and the downloaded jpgs were the same size as the originals,not compressed down to 350kb! To create a post first you need to save the image on your computer and then go on this website: https://postimages.org/ after you entered you upload the image and there is gonna be a option to copy url do the 2nd one with .png .gif or the other types of images afterwards go onto comick and enter this template  and thats it. I personally use https://postimages.org/ . You just upload your images there first and then copy/paste the links into your work (Rich Text -> Image insert -> Insert Link).
