  This is being written on a 2011 iMac which I'll use until it dies since I use it primarily for it's large screen in editing images and using to display reference images for painting. So far, Pages and similar Mac apps still work, but when/if they no longer do, I'll be using LibreOffice and/or OpenOffice myself.
