Hello, I have an Xfinity tg1682g router/modem combo and it requires you to portforward through the xfinity app, which I did. I have opened ports 27014-27017 tcp/udp, and even used the site portchecker.co to see if my port is open, and it says yes. My dedicated server lists the IP address as my LAN ipv4 address (10.0.0.143:27015). I tried changing it to my WAN ipv4 address (the one you see on... Source: over 1 year ago
What router do you have? If portchecker.co isn't showing that the port is open, then your port forwarding didn't work. Source: almost 2 years ago

Hello, I have been trying to set up a port forwarding rule for my computer for a week but still couldn't manage to get the port working. I did the other setup and can wake my computer from a device connected to the same network, but unable to do so from another network/web due to my port not working. I have a pretty unknown? Local brand router called Infinity 401 from netmaster and I tested my ports with... Source: almost 2 years ago
I find it unusual that you have a home connection over 4G with a public IP that is normally routeble. Usually over mobile you get a private IP. If you open ports on your IP public can you confirm that they are infact open? You can use something like https://portchecker.co/ to check that. Is your ISP hosting in a different network or is this theire oqn mobile network? Source: almost 2 years ago

I tried forwarding port 25565 on my router, but using https://portchecker.co/ I can see that port 25565 is closed. I've tried changing the rule, restarting the router, adding firewall exceptions, but still no luck. Source: almost 2 years ago
Go onto https://portchecker.co/ enter your external IP (I don’t think your DDNS address will work but that doesn’t matter) and the port number 554. It should come back as open if your port forwarding is set up correctly. Source: almost 2 years ago
I have a server running several MPD music streams, all accessible via the same IP address on different ports. I have my router configured on a DMZ in my modem and all my ports for the MPD streams are forwarded in my router. The router is running DD-WRT. As of December 2022, I was able to connect to my WAN IP address from anywhere on the Internet and listen to my MPD streams. In December I moved. My ISP has not... Source: almost 2 years ago

It can be. Just confirm the port is open using this site. If it is, test it out using Plex via mobile data. Source: about 2 years ago
Something else that's weird, is even when the server is online and I am able to connect, sites like https://portchecker.co/ and https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ both report 16261 and 16262 as closed! Source: about 2 years ago

Yes I am. I just used my public IP with the port number and was able to successfully join my server. However, both canyouseeme.org and https://portchecker.co say that it is closed even though I'm connected to the server right now. Canyouseeme says it couldn't see my service an port 10578 because the "connection timed out." Idk if that's any clue. Source: about 2 years ago
I want to open port 49999 for torrenting, but when I use portchecker.co , it shows that it is closed. The image below is what I've set up. Source: about 2 years ago
The exact error is: "The server is not reachable on Port 443. You can verify this e.g. With 'https://portchecker.co/' by entering your domain there as ip-address and port 443 as port." I don't have an issue accessing the server at port 8443 to setup a new instance, it's just when I try to enter the domain I want to deploy, I run into issues. Source: about 2 years ago
I'm using the docker installation found at: https://github.com/nextcloud/all-in-one and no matter what I do I keep getting the port 443 error. It's located on a VPS so there is no external firewall and I have tried it both with and without ufw. Nmap on a remote machine says it's open, portchecker.co says it's open, and netstat shows port 443 bound to docker-proxy. Source: about 2 years ago
