Definitive Edition has some quality of life features the original doesn't have (for example, checkpoints and GPS), and the bugs in the Definitive Edition aren't nearly as bad as people make them out to be. When I played through it I didn't encounter anything major. As for performance issues, all I can say is that I played through the game on an Xbox One S the December after it released and it was fine. According to pcgamebenchmark.com , I can run the game, but according to systemrequirementslab.com I cannot because of the graphics card and CPU. What do you think considering the specs below? Thanks. Source: over 1 year ago
I'm pretty clueless when it comes to pc gaming. I know that for the latest games I'm likely looking at around £1k budget, and this is not something I have right now. I've been looking at second hand laptops or desktops, and using https://pcgamebenchmark.com to see what games they might run (no idea how accurate this is), and it looks like I could easily play most total war games on a second hand laptop or desktop... I've tried optimisation via the Nvidia control panel, I can't seem to set the priority above normal on task manager, get access denied. I've tried all graphics settings, but the game can be using 10GB RAM, 60-70% CPU and only seems to be using 40% GPU. The game is very laggy, even after spawning in and getting up. Running on an SSD of course. Not sure if the pcgamebenchmark.com is wrong or if the game is just... Source: over 2 years ago
I played around with the parts a little. Trying to make it a little bit less and using pcgamebenchmark.com to see how different setups compare with eachother. I changed the case for one I personally like more and the gpu to a cheaper one which (i think) is still good enough. Could you tell me if I did a terrible job or not? Source: over 2 years ago

I have an Intel Core i5-1035G7 CPU @ 1.20GHZ, Intel Iris Graphics and 8 GB RAM. According to pcgamebenchmark.com I meet the minimum requirements to run the game though I had like 80% memory consumption while playing. Am I doing something wrong or is my laptop just not powerful enough to run it? Source: almost 3 years ago

A pc with 8 GB ram, over 3GHz processor and 1GB video ram can easily run LoL, CSGO, Dark Souls 1 (only Torrent available, not remastered version) GTA 3/4. Run your benchmarks on pcgamebenchmark.com to know what games your system supports. You can expect some lag despite compatibility. Source: about 3 years ago
Try checking on pcgamebenchmark.com my old laptop had similar specs as you, and tbh it wasn't smooth sailing. Source: over 3 years ago
First off, theres a website called pcgamebenchmark.com , and it basically shows you every PC game, and what are the MINIMUM and RECOMMENDED requirements for games.
