Password Pusher and PwPoSh. Generate a secure password, push it to pwpush, email the user a link. It's not as secure as a password vault, but more secure than sending a clear-text password. Source: about 2 years ago
I'm considering the same for [pwpush.com](https://pwpush.com). Paid hosting with lot of traffic. DO App Platform is better than last year but still a bit quirky. I haven't found a better alternative that is more 1) mature, 2) reliable, 3) paid/supported, 4) enough features. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago

The certificate on https://pwpush.com/ is signed by Let's Encrypt, I never used their tools but I know they let you set up completely automated renewals, so you don't have to worry about it anymore. Source: over 2 years ago
If it's just for sending one off passwords or secrets I use https://pwpush.com/ which also has a github if you wanted to self host. Source: over 2 years ago
