  • 5 Best Places to Use and Try AI Online
OpenAI Gym: If you're interested in using AI for machine learning, OpenAI Gym (https://gym.openai.com/) is a great resource. It's a platform that provides a wide range of environments and tools for developing and testing machine learning algorithms. You can use it to experiment with different techniques and see how well they perform. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Why GPUs are great for Reinforcement Learning?
Open source toolkits such as Open AI Gym can be used for developing and comparing reinforcement learning algorithms. - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago
  • [D] Have there been successful applications of Deep RL to real problems other than board games/Atari?
There is a lot of work in games, particularly board games, but these do not really solve something "useful" for society. I have seen also lots of toy examples with libraries like gym and some robotics but in general these are rather proof-of-concept models or just models that do not work at all. One that actually does work is Solving Rubik’s Cube with a Robot Hand. This is pretty cool, but again, the domain... Source: about 2 years ago
  • Environments to Test Algorithms (Specifically Genetic Algorithms)
I haven't used it, but assume https://gym.openai.com/ is exactly for this. Source: about 2 years ago
  • [N] Gym now has a documentation website
I know it's not a good website but I thought https://gym.openai.com/ was the documentation, is it not? Source: about 2 years ago
  • Ask HN: What would a reality show for Software Engineers look like?
Very well put. You got me thinking about what I do as a software developer that might be considered entertaining. Maybe computer security events like capture the flag (https://ctftime.org/) or coding an AI agent in a simulated environment to achieve a goal (https://www.codingame.com, https://gym.openai.com/) or simply competing with others to solve an algorithmic problem either on time constraint or code length... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
  • 8+ Reinforcement Learning Project Ideas
OpenAI Gym has become the de facto standard for reinforcement learning frameworks among researchers and practitioners. Solving toy problems from the gym library will help familiarize you with this popular framework. Good starting points include Cartpole, Lunar Lander and Taxi. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
  • Reinforcement learning quick start using OpenAI gym + xagents + Google Colab
OpenAI gym: python library that provides environments for developing and comparing reinforcement learning algorithms. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
  • Starting in AI
Yes. "Gym" https://gym.openai.com looks cool. Although it looks like I need to do a little more reading first before I will attempt this. Thanks again for yours suggestions 😁. Source: over 2 years ago
  • How to get started with Facebook's Nethack AI project
David Silver's UCL course is probably a good starting point: https://deepmind.com/learning-resources/-introduction-reinforcement-learning-david-silver -- Regarding learning about the OpenAI Gym interface, check out https://gym.openai.com/. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • [D] Choosing best parameters from an optimization
2- You could go the reinforcement learning approach by controlling these parameters using an agent. This would mean that the parameters would have to change on the fly, which I am not sure if appropriate. If so, creating a gym environment is not so hard, which would then use something like tf.agents , rlax or any other rl framework of your liking. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • How to make an AI bot for an existing game ?
Gym is one that comes to mind. There are many sample projects out there but importing libraries and preparing them will be harder than implementing the actual AI. Source: almost 3 years ago
