Easiest way to find smut novels with plot and translation: go to novelupdates.com (you need to make a free account to get link access) and search for the 'smut' tag. Not all novels with explicit scenes will have this tag though (some translators seem to think 'only' 1-2 chapters of smut + real plot means it shouldn't have the tag), but plenty of users make reading lists of books they liked that had both smut and... I got bored of "slow" updates on some isekai manga so I ended up finding novelupdates.com to read the light novel versions of them. Later on I ended up finding wuxia. But why I kept reading has to do with martial arts, edge, power system, comedy and lore with all it's mysteries. Also the stories are quite unique in that there's almost no end to the adventure so you'll always have some expectations on what's to come. Source: 5 months ago
P.S. I've just found out that there are many novels from different paid apps that are actually originally chinese. I don't know what's the deal about it. They only change the names of the characters and also the places. But sometimes, it doesn't just make sense. I usually read from novelupdates.com so I was surprised by it. Source: 8 months ago
Personally, I've only gotten around to angel next door. If you are looking for a place to find more based on tags I would recommend novelupdates.com. Source: 11 months ago
Novel translation community tends to dislike aggregator sites, so most novel groups host them themselves and link it in novelupdates.com . If you really don't want to spend money, google docs kind of works. Carrd is a little more time consuming but is pretty easy and free (with limitations). Source: 12 months ago
Some must-reads are Qiang Jin Jiu and The Husky and His White Cat Shizun, aka Erha or 2HA (2HA is not completely published though). You can find recommendations on novelupdates.com, too. Happy reading! Source: 12 months ago
Maybe ask the forum on novelupdates.com? Source: 12 months ago
Maybe ask in the forums of novelupdates.com? They'll probably find it for you. Source: about 1 year ago
I'm not sure which book you're talking about, but maybe ask on novelupdates.com? they're really good at finding forgotten/lost novels. Source: about 1 year ago
Rule for thumb for cnovel translations is to check novelupdates.com - it's the main sites for links to fan translations (there still aren't many cnovels that get translated into English at this point, so one mostly has to rely on fan translations of varying quality). Second Life Translations that the other commenter mentions is linked on that site too. That translation is ongoing but with regular updates. The one... Source: about 1 year ago
Alternatively I might read one of the books by the original author (not the one TTEOTM, I'm saving that for when the drama finishes). Read one with a completed translation called 'Devil's Warmth' that I absolutely loved and can recommend (it's modern day though, not xianxia). Author seems to have a thing for bad boy/morally grey MLs, which is right up my alley. It's on novelupdates.com. Source: about 1 year ago
This is kinda a weird answer but if you are at all interested at all like fantasy, novelupdates.com complies all the English fan translations of Chinese web novels. As long as you don't mind varying levels of translations (some I could swear are professional some are definitely high schoolers) there are thousands of novels and they tend to be long so they'll keep you busy. Go to eastern web novels for this, specifically Chinese ones. The whole cultivation idea was popularized by eastern web novels. Anything written by I Eat Tomatoes (Desolate Era was my favorite of his) and anything by Er Gen (I Shall Seal the Heavens was my favorite) are good places to start. Against the Gods and Keyboard Immortal are good if you're looking for something more on the fan servicey side of things.... Source: about 1 year ago
If you don't know the name of a series in Japanese, then novelupdates.com is usually a good place to check, and if you have that, searching for it on sites like cdjapan.co.jp or amazon.co.jp is easy. Source: about 1 year ago
Your best best at this point is probably novelupdates.com - don't expect any epubs or physical books, and finding finished translations is a bit tricky (it's all amateur translations and mostly seem to focus on BL). Source: over 1 year ago
I couldn't find a novel page for it on novelupdates.com So I would create a novel page for it there then upload a link to your chapter 1 on your website from there. Source: over 1 year ago
There's always a chance an aggregator site will poach your TL - there are some sites that make money like that. Not much you can do to avoid it (you can ofc try to reach out to them and tell them to take it down, doesn't mean they'll comply), except put your TL on novelupdates.com, so more people can find the correct version. Fan translations of Chinese novels are quite popular due to the lack of official translations. Most people just post on their own little blog, on Tumblr, Wattpad or even just Google Docs. You can post the links on novelupdates.com - there's already a page for the novel: https://www.novelupdates.com/series/demon-kingthe-parting-of-the-orchid-and-cang/. Source: over 1 year ago
Word of advice: You should assume that if someone writes - the title in English, it's on novelupdates.com (abbreviation: NU) - this site is the no. 1 resource for finding translations of danmei (besides the official TLs). Source: over 1 year ago
No need for links I found it, I think the website is novelupdates.com. Source: over 1 year ago
Agree with u/Zhaeus, free sites are generally of lesser quality and it's nice to support the industry by buying LNs. However, if you do insist on trying fan translations, there's always novelupdates.com which has a huge index of different translated LNs - you might find it there. At your own risk though, because the site only links to the websites of translator groups and doesn't offer them on site, i.e. Your... Source: over 1 year ago
