  Noteplan [1] has stuck for at least 3 years now. I like that in addition to old-school notes pages, each day has its own page. I capture notes and to-dos when I'm in meetings, and it has a separate view that will aggregate all your to-dos onto the same screen, no matter what day they appeared on.   For managing work tasks & notes, as well as other things I need to do, I mostly use an app called NotePlan. I also use Drafts a lot when I'm just capturing pain text things.   Best bet so far (for my needs) was Noteplan which integrates with reminders as well, but it’s €10/month (for local usage), and at that price I can easily enter my notes into Apple Notes, and add the task manually to reminders. Source: over 1 year ago
