It does a very good job in English and seems to have a decent search capability in Japanese - despite having no localization there yet.   Same here! I like Chrome more but I wouldn't mind switching to Firefox just for this and I'm waiting for the right moment so they know why I switched. I also recommend https://neeva.com/ as an alternative search engine. It's not as good as Google's, but it's way ahead of any other I've tried until now.
