Not sure if you know, but it would be faster for you to just go to nba.com boxscore and click on number 14 for this 3PA and watch all 14 of them in like a minute. Source: 5 months ago

I went through and watched all of Wemby's field goal attempts and turnovers against the Clippers on nba.com (I don't have league pass so I can't actually watch the game, sorry if I'm a box score casual 🙄), and here's a few key things I noticed him doing wrong. Source: 7 months ago
The Timberwolves are #1, Pelicans are #2, Magic #3 and Phoenix #4 on Cleaning the Glass. On nba.com (doesn't filter out garbage time & heaves), it's the same order except Pelicans are #1. Source: 7 months ago
I am working on a project using NBA statistics and I have come across a problem. I am looking for screen assists in the 2015-2016 season for every NBA Team in the Regular Season and on nba.com, there is there is limited data. It shows values like 0.1 or 0.0 instead of larger values like 7.6 which can be seen in following years. The playoffs have good data that I can use, but only for 16 teams. I'm wondering if I... There's a little link up at the top left which will take you to the legit nba.com site. Which is 10x better than the Canadian "we have nba.com at home" sporting news site. Source: 10 months ago
For a while on the nba.com website, when you searched for Anfernee Simons, it showed John Butler's face. I could not stop laughing. Source: 10 months ago
It's fine after you click the extra nba.com button in the top of the page, but it's just bizarre to try to go to the nba website and to get redirected with an offbrand sports news website. Source: 11 months ago
They had a 0.6 net rating in 529 minutes together last according to nba.com so it really doesn't work that well. Source: 11 months ago

Newer to reddit but cool story I was one of the first 1000 Raptors Insiders signed up via email on nba.com in 1997. They sent me a replica ring in 2020. This franchise means everything to me. Source: 11 months ago
Interestingly enough, by nba.com's measurements, Tatum ended up shooting almost 52% on the series when guarded by Tobias. Source: 11 months ago
Don't sleep on Drew Eubanks from Portland. I believe he's available - not on the roster @ nba.com. Source: 11 months ago
Players used to be measured in shoes, which would make them about 2 inches taller than their real height. iirc, the nba made a rule a few years ago where teams had to take accurate measurements of players heights w/o shoes...so now the official heights listed on nba.com are the real heights. Can you share where you get this data? The data I see from nba.com for 22-23 5 ft range stats shows Luka at 71.2% from within 5 ft while Tatum is 66%. From 5-9 ft, Luka is at 55 while Tatum is 40%, similar numbers from 10-14 ft. Meanwhile, this season, their 3pt% is 35% for Tatum while Luka is 34.2%. Also, Tatum's 3pt% has decreased significantly over 3 years which makes you wonder if he can ever shoot 37% at... Source: 11 months ago
According to nba.com, the Celtics isolated 9.6% of the time in the playoffs, the 6th most frequent out of 16 teams. Isolating one tenth of the time isn't that much in the grand scheme of things. Source: 11 months ago
Nba.com has him at 6'5. He has like a 7 foot wingspan though which is why it seems like he is taller than he is and why he can guard 4s. Source: 11 months ago
It's right on the nba.com 's box scores if you click on 'range filter'. Source: 11 months ago
This is definitely a cool project - currently all the tracking data you'll find on nba.com also uses a machine learning model to differentiate playtypes etc. (facilitated by Second Spectrum). Source: 12 months ago
Go back and watch the film cuts that nba.com gives us. There are so many times when Strus, Duncan and Martin float out to the three point line when the paint get's clogged for Butler. He then passes it out to them for a wide open or lightly contested three. Go find me all the film of Bam doing that. Source: 12 months ago
