  • Ask HN: What are your favorite RSS feeds?
    - I would also humbly recommend my own writing project, link in my profile if you're inetrested I also recommend looking at Morss.it (https://morss.it/) if there is a site you want to subscribe to without a feed. It generally works very well (RSS Bridge and RSS Hub serve the same purpose if you want to self-host). - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
  • Help Finding the Best RSS App Mac/iOS
However you can retrofit this onto any reader by using a service that creates a full text feed from a summary feed. Two that I have used in the past are https://morss.it/ and https://www.fivefilters.org/full-text-rss/. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Selfhosted Scraping/RSS feed
FreshRss with FullTextRss / https://morss.it (for full page scrapping in rss fed). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Looking for an app with these features
FeedMail supports scraping the full text articles via a per-feed option in the interface. However you can also use something like ftr.fivefilters.net or morss.it to turn any feed into a full-text feed, then you can use that in any reader, even if it doesn't support scraping full text itself. • [Summary] Best (full content) RSS feeds? r/rss
If you want to make summary feeds full-text there is often an option in your feed reader. Alternative you can use services such as morss.it or Full-Text RSS Feeds to take a summary feed and output a full-text feed. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Any recommendation of RSS service that has full text extraction?
I've also used https://morss.it/ in the past but it does appear to get the cookie notice in this case. Source: over 1 year ago

I tried the morss.it and the other website but they have a limit to how many articles they will scrape. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Are RSS feeds worth using as most of the RSS readers redirect to the main website?
In general the feed decides what content to include the feed. Often more commercial feeds only provide a teaser so that you go to their site (and view their ads). You can try asking the sites to provide a full feed (some more personal content may just be accidently showing summaries). However most of the time you will need a tool that scrapes the content from the website itself. As you noted some feed readers... Source: about 2 years ago
  • Request: an RSS feed for news that are fully included in the feed and don't require me going to a website to read them.
Morss.it looks nothing short of perfect. Wow. Thanks a lot for the recommendation. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Inoreader
You can use services such as morss.it or Full-Text RSS Feeds to take a summary feed and output a full-text feed. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Am I missing something?
To avoid this you need a "full-text RSS" solution. Maybe feed-readers have them built in or you can use external ones like morss.it or Full-Text RSS Feeds | from fivefilters.org. These take a feed as input and export a new feed that has the full article content (scraped from the target website). Source: about 2 years ago
  • Newsboat avoid only summary help
Hi pros, Question y’all might be able to help. I love using newsboat to view my news from many different sites and political bias. But one issue I have is that some or most sites only post a summary. I did find https://morss.it/ but the main or even only issue I’ve come across is that it seems you can only get 5 articles. Which is fine, but news doesn’t stop when I’m asleep so if there is 13 hours between... Source: over 2 years ago
  • “We removed the RSS feed since this technology became obsolete”
I'm not affiliated but I use both of these services and seem to do a good job: - https://morss.it/ - http://ftr.fivefilters.org/. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
