  • Don’t have enough free images to use.
Have you ever checked out morguefile.com? Source: about 1 year ago
  • Free stock images and videos to use for you reels.
Morguefile– Over 350,000 free stock photos for commercial use. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Pixabay has royalty free music you can use for free
MorgueFile is another decent source: https://morguefile.com/. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
  • Space Animal Stickers in my Redbubble store, see links in captions
The heads of the animals themselves were taken from various royalty free images ( namely morguefile.com) and then heavily modified in Photoshop to create a sort of greyscale stencil. After that, I've experimented with various layer options with public domain images from the Hubble Telescope gallery and ended up with these neat looking designs. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Modern public domain Photography Resources?
Https://morguefile.com/ used to be my go-to for public domain CC0 sort of images. They have, unfortunately, fallen into the same situation as so many other sites like it - they were bought out by Shutterstock, who now use it as a front-end to upsell you into buying their shit. The free-to-use stuff still exists, but navigating the site is a pain in the ass anymore, lots of scummy bait-and-switch shit going on. Source: about 2 years ago
  • FREE Tools for Game Developers. Hmm Yummy 🤤
I know it's not a tool, I'd also like to state, but there's a place called https://morguefile.com/ and they have stock photos you can turn into textures if you so choose. There's also public domain photos if you're willing to search for them, too. Source: over 2 years ago
  • New side project MFILE.io
In 1999 I started morguefile.com, last year I sold it and now I am revitalizing another idea I had years ago. https://mfile.io. MFile.io was created to be a fast, efficient way to share a collection of images in a polished presentation. Instant tear sheets for creatives. Hoping to apply a lot of lessons learned from all the years maintaining morguefile. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Source: over 2 years ago
  • My new side project, folio.ink after I sold the last one
After 19 years managing morguefile.com it was finally time to let it go and this week I did a soft launch of my next idea, https://folio.ink. Super simple, fast, free online portfolio. Like imgur meets squarespace. I still have quite a bit of tweaking, any feedback is greatly appreciated. Source: over 2 years ago
