I now limit chocolate, coffee, and greasy/processed foods. The Mediterranean diet is my friend. No milk or dairy-based yogurt / ice cream (oat milk and cashew yogurt taste better anyway).     Also when you go to the doctor, this will be a good basis to have. I also note what type of pain it is I'm feeling (ie radiating, throbbing, tension, pinpoint) and any other symptoms - nausea, sinus congestion, watery eyes, etc. There are also a lot of really good apps to help as well!
