  Today I got a weird problem. I can barely reach mwomercs.com, and it's the same with the game. I first noticed it when I started the game, alt-tabbed, and when I came back to it, it had loaded, but my mech inventory was completely empty.   The event queue schedule is outlined on mwomercs.com , it's even at the top of the "LATEST NEWS" list. Also there is a string of text that says how long the current event has running when you are selecting your mech or mechs to take into event queue. If you missed these, my heart goes out to you.   (Regardless, the free-to-play MechWarrior Online game actually does offer somewhat-redesigned versions of all of the Unseen 'Mechs, as far as I can remember. And, the last time I checked, you really could play that game for free, getting useful stuff that otherwise would cost money by playing various weekend and holiday special events. Now since MWO was a spin-off video game, it was considered ‘apocryphal’ and not a part of the greater Battletech canon.   There's several. I'm not much of an online/pvp gamer but mechwarrior online and mechwarrior: living legends (a sequel's in the works) are free and plenty like them. You can also get mechwarrior 5 which I've been loving. Though, I'd highly recommend the DLC. It's very incomplete without it.   As for the latest video games, there's HBS Battletech which is a turn based tactical game set in the late succession wars. As you mentioned, there's also Mechwarrior 5 which is also set in the succession wars and ends just prior to the Clan Invasion era. MWO is still a thing and has tech up to the FedCom Civil War era.
