  Oh, dear. The mifepristone alone will not necessarily cause an abortion, though it may cause the pregnancy to stop growing. Without misoprostol you may need a clinic procedure.   A blood test needs to be taken twice in order to give you any information. The point is to see if the levels of hcg in your blood are increasing or decreasing.
