If you want additional functionality beyond the DJI Fly, you'll almost certainly want Litchi. Source: 5 months ago
If loading the DJI app on your phone is a concern, you could use one of the Litchi apps instead (which are developed in the UK) or use the DJI controllers that have the screen and app built in, without connecting it to the Internet. Source: 5 months ago
If you are using a DJI drone, you can use https://flylitchi.com/ to do this. It uses a second cell phone and is $25. Source: 6 months ago
I think it's also worth pointing out that DJI's first-party app isn't required to operate many of their drones. Most of their drones, apart from all but the most recent (i.e. The one this announcement is about probably won't have support for a while, but the previous gen will) has support through apps like Litchi and Dronelink via the developer API, which have additional features and don't have the exact same... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
So something's changed about DJI's API as well. In the past, you could use 3rd-party apps that extended features, and offered new ones. One popular app is Litchi https://flylitchi.com However, DJI seems to have stopped updating their iOS API, so 3rd-party iOS apps won't work with any newer drones and Android stuff seems to be available only by side-loading. Perhaps there's something in the newer APIs that neither... - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
Depending on the drone. I use litchi and the DJI app https://flylitchi.com/. Source: 11 months ago
With the litchi app, I've flown my drone every week past exactly the same waypoints around the house. Source: about 1 year ago
Https://flylitchi.com/ - app written to control air using SDK exposed by DJI. Provides functionalof DJI Fly all, and also adds waypoint mode, follow mode, abd a bunch of other advanced modes. Source: over 1 year ago
Litchi, adds waypoint mission and flight automation. I find that Litchi is not as stable as Maven. Source: over 1 year ago
You could bye a used mini2 and get a third party app like https://flylitchi.com. Should be the cheapest way to get active track. Source: over 1 year ago
There's an alternate control app for you phone that will apparently do it. It's from Litchi: https://flylitchi.com. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
That sucks. Iād keep a backup flight app on your phone like litchi just in case Go4 craps out on you again. You can fly DJI drones with litchi no problem. https://flylitchi.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
I think this is what youāre looking for: https://flylitchi.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
If they're like some consumer and commercial drones, they can be pre-programmed to complete a "mission" whether or not they're in contact with the controller. So line-of-sight, signal strength, etc, doesn't matter much. You pre-program a flight with GPS coordinates, and then just send the drone on its way. Check out https://flylitchi.com and the "mission hub" ... that's what I use for DJI drones. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
Not directly related, since I don't have a DJI FPV, but I've used both this app https://www.cavu.io/ (which apparently is no longer available) and Litchi https://flylitchi.com/ for head-tracking while flying my Phantom 4 using my phone in VR goggles. I only set it to control the camera using my head as opposed to controlling the flight. Source: almost 2 years ago
Hmmm, I thought software like https://flylitchi.com was basically endorsed by DJI haha. Im still new to all this tbh. Source: almost 2 years ago
No idea about Oculus but maybe try looking into https://flylitchi.com/. Source: almost 2 years ago
You can use https://flylitchi.com/ for tracking. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
There is also maven and https://flylitchi.com/ but I havenāt tried either. I donāt even have my drone yet but I was researching apps recently and forums these. I bought Dronelink for 100$. Source: about 2 years ago
You can use a third party app like Litchi (https://flylitchi.com/) to gain access to Follow Me mode on the Mini 2, but use it at your own risk. The lack of obstacle avoidance in the Mini 2 could put you in an expensive situation. Source: about 2 years ago
I'm sure it won't include support for some features via the API, but I expect Litchi and other control apps to implement it and allow some things like pre-programmed flight, and follow modes anyway. Source: over 2 years ago
