However, if you did verify the hashes of the installer and downloaded it from ledger.com and then you were updating your app all the time, there is no risk for you and your Ledger Live should be genuine. Source: 5 months ago

Should I be concerned because I bought Ledger device from authorised reseller from official ledger.com because it's a 3rd party? Been using fine for years (device genuine checked on ledger live and etc) and is authorised reseller from official ledger website ledger.com still 3rd party? Source: 9 months ago
Presumably you still have the seedphrase? If so, you can buy a new Ledger and restore it (make sure you get the official version of Ledger Live from ledger.com only). You could also get a Trezor and put in the same seed phrase, but Trezor doesn't support that many coins, so you may get stuck for some coins. Source: 10 months ago
I’ve received my Nano X from authorised reseller from ledger.com, not Amazon or third party. The box is in orange and black and the container is white. Is it normal? See attached. I know that ledger changed their packaging but I heard it was in black which is different to what I got. Can you confirm it is safe? Source: 10 months ago
Get a Ledger directly from ledger.com/ and nowhere else. If you don't, you run the risk of buying a maliciously compromised device. Although, I myself prefer Trezor.io but that's another topic... Source: 11 months ago
Contact them through ledger.com Send an email and explain what happened. Also include the date you purchased it and the day you received it. From there, just wait for a response. It took them a few days to get back to me but after that, it a replacement was sent out with a return label for the old one. Source: 12 months ago

I've read great things about Ledger's top-of-the-line security features and its support for a wide range of cryptocurrencies, but the cost of the wallet is a bit steep for my budget. If anyone has a promo code that they could share with me, I would be extremely grateful. Source: about 1 year ago
You should only download from ledger.com Never write your seed outside of the ledger device. Source: about 1 year ago

If you're serious about this, the safest way to store crypto is in a hardware wallet, of which Ledger is the most popular. They cost about a hundred dollarroos. ledger.com . Source: about 1 year ago
They don't event get an email that looks like ledger.com so, no, not really a good scam mail. Source: about 1 year ago
I was the one that posted about this. I typed in ledger.com and went to the download ledger live tab. I then just went back to the same link in my history when I downloaded it a couple more times to figure out what was going on. It's probably more of an issue on my side, something malicious on my PC I can't find. I hadn't downlaoded ledger when this first started either. It happened after I updated the... Did you download ledger live from ledger.com directly by typing it on the URL bar? Source: over 1 year ago
This can occur via dropping the device, ingress of dust/debris, or corrosion of the metal pads. There was also a design improvement made quite some time ago to the way the battery contacts the main circuit board. As far as I'm aware, the factory no longer holds any stock of the previous design, so if you ordered from ledger.com in the last at least 6 months, you'll have gotten the new design. It's possible... I recently bought a ledger device for christmas from ledger.com - the official website. Shortly after the delivery, I received a mail from the "Ledger Support Team" (mail address [enquiries@impact-publishing.co.uk](mailto:"enquiries@impact-publishing.co.uk) ?!?!) about the subject "Ledger security breach - Please scan your device" stating that there was a security breach and I have to scan my device via an online... First are you positive you are typing the correct account number in hashscan including the 0.0. header? Hashscan is working for mine. Regarding Hashpack: did you set it up on more than one machine including your pc and mobile version on a phone? If you can rule out user error you should start looking at possible fraud. Where did you buy the ledger from? Directly from ledger.com or anywhere else? Have you... Source: over 1 year ago
