• Whatever Happened to NFTs?

  My son used to play Krunker [1] which has trading mechanics for cosmetics that really adds to the fun. I think it demonstrates that gamers could take an interest in trading but also that you don't need NFTs for it. There are about 30 or so NFT items in the game and one exclusive cosmetic class: anybody you see wearing a wristwatch has a wristwatch NFT.   For a while my son was playing this game https://krunker.io/ which has rather good trading mechanics in the game (for non-NFT objects) and has a total of 20 or so NFT objects in the game. A handful of players own most of them, for instance there is only one type of watch you can wear in the game and there are only five of those and four of those belong to the same person.   I think the strangest one is this game https://krunker.io/ which has some stories in newspapers claiming it has serious player numbers but the people who make it have tried several times to make their own page for it which have been taken down because it was self-promotion.   Basically, this is a copy of krunker.io, with worse graphics, worse ui, and no option to even change sensitivity. It feels pay-to-win, even though it isn't, and the original has more pay-to-win aspects. What I want changed is: remove the battlepass and skin wheel, have all characters unlocked, and give people settings (like changing sens).   Hello, I am currently on mac sonoma beta 2. When I play steam games, I can see the game mode being enabled and it actually helps me with less dropped frames. However, I also sometimes play electron app games such as krunker.io and noticed how game mode wasn't activated(probably recognized as a simple electron app?)   I would now like to also talk about how I had singlehandedly been running the YouTube scene for this game. It's not the easiest to make content for, with many old creators like SillyAW and AndySucksAtFps leaving to krunker.io after a few months. There is no content creator on YouTube that uploaded as much as I did, nor uploaded for as long as I did. I would say as much as I'm trying to avoid going down that route...   It actually wasn't determined, when I created my krunker.io account I couldn't find a name so I just put "absolutely_rad" because my last name is Radhakrishnan (its a very common Indian name I have not revealed personal information). • Are there any WebGPU games available to play?

  I want to create some simple game-as-platform project using WebGPU and available to play through browser. Currently I'm doing research and exploring stuff made using WebGPU. I have found few awesome games (krunker.io, venge.io, hordes.io) but looks like they all utilize OpenGL. If you know any examples or demos for WebGPU please let me know! Thank you! • aw snap issue

  Hello, I recently downloaded ungoogled chromium ver 86 for arm64 mac on woolys. Everything has been fine until I decided to play some games on it. Shellshock.io was fine but the moment I started playing krunker.io, it gave me an aw snap error with error code 5. I have no extensions and deleted all cache and nothing works.(even tried incognito) One difference between these two games is that one uses google cookies... Source: over 3 years ago
