As someone else also wrote, I usally go for a web proxy of some kind(nginx, traefik..) but this looks interesting. For smaller apps you could consider bundling it with https://kore.io/ =). Source: almost 2 years ago

If you want fast, just write it in C (kore.io would help). I generally use Python because it's fast to develop in and fast enough at runtime. Would like to see LoC measures, number of contributors to the project, stars, amount of 1st and 3rd party documentation provided, and the like (ideally number of users, but that's way harder to get).
