Funny meme btw. Personally, I use xorg with 3 displays. Fortunately, the resolution is same on all screens (full HD). I use Komorebi for live wallpapers and conky for sidebar. It works flawlessly. Source: 11 months ago
BTW the app is for live wallpaper But it didn't work for me and there were some glitches I think. When I open workspace it's show me the old wallpaper but on normal disktop showing me the wallpaper that's from the application (koinobori). Source: over 1 year ago
Someone knows a substitute to komorebi ( animated wallpaper ). Source: almost 2 years ago
I experimented with this once upon a time: https://github.com/cheesecakeufo/komorebi (it looks stale in 2022). Source: almost 2 years ago
Hello, Im trying to get Komorebi to work as my Wallpaper Manager. I tried the .deb package install & the build from source & neither worked. (Cant right click to get the menu). Source: almost 2 years ago
How did you install komorebi? If you used the .deb from the project's Github, you should have noticed the last update was July 2018. That should have been your first warning. If you had bothered to look at the Issues you would have seen a long list of other reasons to avoid this package. Https://github.com/cheesecakeufo/komorebi. Source: about 2 years ago
I've always just used komorebi: https://github.com/cheesecakeufo/komorebi. Source: about 2 years ago
The app I used for the live wallpaper is called "Komorebi". Source: over 2 years ago
Thanks. I went with that and no packages were repaired or needed to be repaired. I tried punkbert's last suggestion and went to the developer's Github page - https://github.com/cheesecakeufo/komorebi - and lo and behold there's a fix. Paste this in the terminal:. Source: over 2 years ago
With a screen like that, you should animate the background. Source: over 2 years ago
Don't mind people online, they'll always talk bad about GNOME and tell you to switch over to KDE. Personally, I want you to use whatever you like. When I was on GNOME, I used Komorebi and it served me well. Source: over 2 years ago
It looks like there is Komorebi, but I don't believe it has audio playback. Source: over 2 years ago
I used to use this one for some time: https://github.com/cheesecakeufo/komorebi. Source: over 2 years ago
I stumbled upon Komorebi, but it only works on DEs, and I use a WM (Awesomewm), also I found this one: wallset but it literally doesnt work in any of the commands, either with an image or a video, and the developer isn't giving a f*ck to any of the issues. Source: over 2 years ago
To those of you asking for the wallpaper I'm using a live wallpaper with Komorebi that allows to set videos as wallpapers, as for the video I got it from the Wallpaper Engine workshop, I would love to link it here but Steam seems to be down, but if you manage to find it you can use this to download content from the workshop. Oh, for the uninitiated; this is Komorebi's currently maintained fork. The problem is that it covers over everying everything on yer desktop, including things like i3bar and wot not. Source: almost 3 years ago
That's basically komorebi, but it's honestly a gimmick because you aren't going to see your desktop background if you're actually using your desktop. Source: about 3 years ago
