Lately kijiji.ca does not seems to care about user experience. Source: 8 months ago
For short term rentals, I find airbnb is matching or more than hotels downtown. Torontosuites is the cheapest. It's clean and well run by a family whose owned it for decades. Try to get into their 2 Glen Elm property vs the Lawton one. It's located along subway line #1, near St Clair station and under 30 minutes to downtown. There are other short term, Del Suites, Minto run a few. Some listings on kijiji.ca ... Source: 10 months ago
Try using kijiji.ca, rentfaster.ca, or facebook marketplace if you're considering Calgary. Source: 11 months ago
I do check that on kijiji.ca and FB Marketplace, but Kijiji Auto doesn't seem to show that. Source: 11 months ago
Ambulatory wheelchair user here... Online buy & sell sites, including Facebook Marketplace and ebay, can be your best friend when it comes to replacing your Drive "hospital clunker", as I call those things. It was on the Canadian buy/sell site kijiji.ca that I found my two manual 'chairs, both high-end "everyday" models, used but in great shape and dirt cheap. $50 got me my daily driver, a perfectly good Quickie... When I was on campus I would use kijiji.ca to find new places, living off of campus is almost always cheaper. The other place I'm told is Facebook marketplace, however I don't really use it. Worth a try! Source: about 1 year ago
In case you are looking for longer term rentals in NS or Canada more generally, a good website to look is kijiji.ca. Source: over 1 year ago
A lot will depend on the city you move to. Finding housing is very challenging right now, alot of newcomers are sleeping 6 to a room in basement apartments, that type of thing. Students are being left homeless. There is a very large Lebanese Canadian commuity in Canada, (at least where I've lived in Ottawa and Halifax). But both those cities would be challenging to move to. You can search for apartments on... Source: over 1 year ago
Also, I've posted before about being a wheelchair user with ME, and following a mishap yesterday with a tire's inner tube while installing new "winter tires", I am investing in a used all-manual 'chair as a backup, while I wait for some new 24x1 tubes to come in. A guy about 90 minutes from my home base listed, for just over CAD $100 on kijiji.ca, a TiLite ZR, with a frame that'll be lighter than the aluminum... Source: over 1 year ago
Try roomies.ca , kijiji.ca , facebook marketplace , rentals.ca , or even try posting a flyer up at campus ! Students tend to help other students , I hope something comes up :) best of luck. Source: over 1 year ago

Try searching thru FB marketplace (Change the location to Toronto if you live overseas), and someone also recommended kijiji.ca , and I have found a lot of good places near the university at affordable prices. Source: almost 2 years ago

Kijiji.ca still seems to be the most popular single website, but there are multiple places that do not advertise on that site so you should still search up "kamloops rentals" or "kamloops apartments" on google.ca. Source: almost 2 years ago
Thanks for your answer, the other site (kijiji.ca) does not display that banner when browsing from Opera Gx mobile, this is weird. Source: almost 2 years ago
Been using a manual 'chair part-time ("ambulatory wheelchair user") since October of last year, but last month I upgraded from a folding Quickie 2 to a rigid frame Quickie Q7... Both 'chairs were second-hand finds on kijiji.ca. The nice thing about my Q7 is that it has power-assist wheels, namely the Alber "e-motion" wheels, and those make a world of difference... Even the smallest push forward on the handrims... Source: almost 2 years ago
I've been using a manual wheelchair part-time for close to seven months now, as I have all of the core symptoms of ME/CFS and have not been officially diagnosed yet... My main reasons for using the 'chair are my orthostatic intolerance and fatigue. My first 'chair was a used Quickie 2 that I obtained from someone locally, but last month on kijiji.ca, a woman in Montreal was selling a used Quickie Q7 for $50 - and... Source: almost 2 years ago
If you don't like being tied to a contract, 3rd party resellers are cheaper and generally contract free. If you can find a used modem on kijiji.ca that works, even cheaper. Just make sure it works with your reseller. Source: almost 2 years ago
