I think withjoy does this. They definitely have a call to action for people to share photos using their app. Not sure bout the video functionality but that should be easy enough to do once you have the photos/videos. - Source: Reddit / 10 days ago
Technological platforms for organizing weddings and related events. For example, Joy makes money by helping wedding guests buy gifts for the newlyweds - household appliances, electronics, kitchen utensils, and other household goods. As people buy gifts off the wedding registry, the company receives kickbacks from retailers. The startup has raised a total of $106.5 million. - Source: Reddit / 11 days ago
We’re using https://withjoy.com Good luck with wedding planning!!❣️. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
Anyway, this "designer" is using Wordpress and the Salient theme from Themeforest.com. They were going to get overcharged for lackluster work anyway. There are websites like theknot.com and withjoy.com, and many others that offer easy to create wedding websites. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
I am currently using withjoy.com after recommendations from several recently wedded friends, and it makes this really easy to manage! You can ask for RSVPs per individual or per household for the wedding, other events, etc. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
Withjoy.com for the digital invites! Super easy, and you can customize the website so that only certain events are visible to the relevant guests. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
We did save the dates and a wedding website through withjoy.com. It's free, and you don't have to pay for postage because it's virtual. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
Obviously not OP, but we've really enjoyed using withjoy.com. I'll disclaim that the whole group of us is just under 30 people, but the option for invitees to not add any extra people on the rsvp was a nice touch for peace of mind. I can't comment on the use for "regular" sized weddings, but I would definitely say it's worth checking out. - Source: Reddit / 6 months ago
We are planning our black tie optional wedding in January 2023 and are preparing to order our invitations. While I love the aesthetics of a mail-in RSVP with it's own envelope, I'm learning toward digital RSVPs via our wedding website (on withjoy.com). My future mother-in-law has made it known that she thinks mail-in RSVPs are the only way to go, so I've been thinking this through for a while. The reasons I've... - Source: Reddit / 6 months ago
Withjoy is a great tool to use! Not only is it easy to input all your wedding details and photo galleries, it also has a questionnaire section that you can completely customize. In this case, you could make it a questionnaire as to whether your guests are attending the different events. You can also assign tags to your guest to help group people together by event. It tracks everything for you, and you can export... - Source: Reddit / 8 months ago
I was going to say this! I loved withjoy.com. - Source: Reddit / 10 months ago
I have the same thoughts/questions actually. I'm leaning towards not doing a registry or mentioning gifts because I can't think of what I would say or do to provide instructions for those who really want to give a gift without creating some expectations. Friends of ours created a registry site on withjoy.com that said "Your presence is enough of a present to us! But for those of you who insist, we've put... - Source: Reddit / 11 months ago
We used withjoy.com and liked it. There are multiple layers of privacy: you can require a password AND specific guest name* to see any details, so there's no way someone who's not on the guest list would be able to see any info that's not on the homepage. You can also opt to not show the wedding date on the homepage. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
Utilized withjoy.com for basic wedding website information. Now they have locked my image and contact information into a wedding website that I created and can't delete. This includes photo artwork by my brother. It was very easy to delete my theknot.com wedding website. Why is withjoy being so creepy? Anyone else experience this? - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
We have a registry on withjoy.com -- its the only wedding website that doesn't charge a percentage fee on cash gifts and that's kinda what we've noticed that people want to give us. Plus, we figure after the few little physical items that we'd love to receive, we can list a few things like our honeymoon, honeymoon accommodations for our pups, etc that will help some of our other friends and relatives find the... - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
Curious why you wouldn't use something like withjoy.com for this? - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
Hey! I've been using withjoy.com which has been my fav thus far. Not so much for the wedding recommendations and planning (because I prefer to do work of mouth recommendations) but I love their layout when it comes to things that attendees will see and it's totally free. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
Hi all! I am wondering if those of you who are using withjoy.com as their wedding website have played around with the custom CSS functionality. I managed to insert some pictures here and there or change style, colours etc. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
Someone I know used this site: https://withjoy.com. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
We didn’t send out printed invites, we used https://withjoy.com - it’s brilliant. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
Save the Dates, Invitations, and Thank You cards all from Minted, plus postage from USPS (obviously). I also bought a Minted More membership that got me a running 20% discount and free shipping, because I knew I probably wouldn't plan well enough to catch sales for every single thing. It wound up being worth it, at least for my peace of mind. We did online RSVPs only through our Joy website and it worked perfectly. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
