  If you find that boy loom not to your liking, you can get a good set of round ones or long/rectangular ones for under $25 at michaels. if you go to their website, you can sign up for emails and get coupons. they run a 20% off sale basically every day. joann.com also has coupons, and usually runs a 40% off one item regularly. it's a good way to get supplies at lower prices. :)).   Not sure where you are, but you might consider joann.com for your yarn, and have it shipped. in the US, if you sign up for emails, you can get lots of coupons...some are 40% off an item, and some are for free/cheap shipping. their big twist brand is reasonably priced. if you don't find a #5 yarn to your liking, you can buy double the amount of a #4 yarn and use 2 strands at the same time to make a chunky fabric. • Ergonomic hook?

  I use the kb ergonomic hook. I have a grip problem when I hold dishes to dry them with a cloth. the orange hook does not cause any issues or pain for me. if you go to joann.com and sign up for their emails, you will start getting regular coupons for 40-60% off. you can get the hook in store for a lot less that way. the coupons will also save you on other looms/supplies. worth the effort, definitely. :)). • Kb multi-knit loom vs. KB all-n-one

  The all in one will let you increase/decrease the number of pegs by 2s if that is called for. you can make socks up to blankets, but an adult sized blanket will need to be panels stitched/joined together. because of the corners in this one, I often gets a row of ladders that have to be blocked away. if you decide to buy this loom, go to joann.com and sign up for emails/the app. you will start getting coupons...
