Look for ways to upskill for free. You can find a lot of free short courses online; for example, through HubSpot Academy for sales and marketing. Your local library or other community organisation may also run courses sometimes. Look around, see what you can find. Only spend money on resources when you must. As your income increases, you can rationalize spending more for some of the "nice to have" resources (subscriptions, digital and non-digital tools, books, classes, seminars/conventions, etc.).
