Unfortunately, she tells me that now that it's been escalated to tier 3 she can no longer access it to print it out. She did mention she had done that with a previous client in the same "rejected stuck state" (because he never requested it be escalated and fixed). So they clearly have a bug with their online hrblock.com software. Now on day 14... Source: 2 months ago
Has anyone else experienced this on the hrblock.com website: My tax lady e-filed my return on March 10th. It was promptly rejected by the IRS because she missed an 8xxx form. She then uploaded the missing form but when I log into hrbblock.com is still has the status of "Filed" with an additional status in red of "Rejected". It just says my tax preparer is working on it and will let me know how to proceed (see... Source: 2 months ago
Here's my "how to do taxes" lesson for the once per year per class I get asked this: Go to hrblock.com and do the free tax filing. If you're situation is too complicated for the free version you either a) made enough money to hire a tax pro or b) made enough mistakes you probably wouldn't be smart enough to do it on your own anyway. Where did you find this link? I'm a little skeptical because this link started popping up in the last two or three weeks randomly on reddit. WHOIS information says this domain was registered in 2020. Does anyone have a link thats referencing hrblock.com instead of this? I have an activation code purchased back in dec 2021 and now struggling to find the link to download the darn software. So I go back in there...and they changed my damn numbers. It says I'm getting $320 more back from federal than what I filed. I've contacted their support and spent hours with them. They were never able to resolve anything at all. So now if I file... Source: over 1 year ago
I thought using mechanicalsoup might be a good solution to this, but I speak no HTML or CSS, so I'm having a hard time navigating the website, following links etc. I figured a good place to start would be to write a script to login from hrblock.com, navigate to the relevant area of the website, and fill out the form for one trade. After working that out, I could probably write a loop to repeat the last few steps... Source: over 1 year ago
I went to hrblock.com and filed for free w/o any issues. I had to decline a paid version 5 times but the opt out/declines were easy to find and click. I'm not sure what you are ranting about. Source: over 1 year ago
