Overall, I would say that Mario Wonder was good, for those reasons. However, that's about all the game has to offer. For starters, the scope of the game is very small. Especially considering the $60 price tag. The game only me around 10 hours to beat, or about 18.5 hours to 100% according to howlongtobeat.com. Source: 5 months ago
Ive got a big backlog of games to play, so what I did is for the singleplayer stuff I looked up everything I had installed and seen how long it would take ot beat it (I used this website https://howlongtobeat.com/ ) and im playing the shorter stuff first. I had to kind of force myself at first because ive been really distracted myself lately its a huge issue at times. My main thing was youtube, id just randomly... Source: 5 months ago
I would suggest splitting the short games and long games into two separate lists, order them based on how much you want to play them, and only pick out a long game when you have the time to dedicate to them. howlongtobeat.com is a great resource for figuring that out. Source: 5 months ago

The game had its official release a couple of days ago on October 19th, and I have heard a lot of mixed feelings about it. However, it looks like the type of game I would really enjoy. I read on howlongtobeat.com that the game lasts for only an hour long: is this true? Should I just wait for video reviews to come out? Source: 6 months ago
> https://howlongtobeat.com/ The completion times seem generally lower than I expected. I wonder if there is a selection bias, as in most users who submitted stats are people are pretty good at games. Or maybe for classic games, it's recording replay times from people who have already beat it years ago, as opposed to first runs through the game. (It's the first time I have heard of this site, so I looked up... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago

You could always use howlongtobeat.com to see what people report their average playtime is. Personally I've found that my playtime usually ends up being about 20% higher than the average playtime on the site but that's purely based on how you play the game. Source: 9 months ago
I am wanting to make a list of games to play and I wanted to also have the completion time from howlongtobeat.com next to it. Is there any way that I can have my sheet look at up the listed game on this site and import it to my sheet? Source: 9 months ago
You might also have some luck browsing itch.io's horror + short tags for things that interest him and check the playtime length on HowLongToBeat. Source: 10 months ago

I just looked up playtimes for my entire backlog on howlongtobeat.com and according to that site, my story replay of FFXIV will take me 238h. I think those are average numbers by users so that's more or less what you're looking at. That "more or less" probably is a good bit of tolerance tho. I find the 300h some are giving you here to be very plausible. Source: 10 months ago
Basically any 15-20 hour game. You can check a games rough time to beat here: https://howlongtobeat.com/. Source: 10 months ago
I get it. Its not TECHNICALLY bad. It works. It looks decent. Its game design, compared to the Tales games before, is just so bland and boring. The explorable areas are just blobs of open spaces filled with respawning monsters. Sure, the PS2/GC-era games are technically inferior but at least these areas were DESIGNED. The worst part about it? I actually bought the Day 1 Edition of Xillia 1 and the Steelbook of... Source: 10 months ago

-Purposefully seek out shorter games. If you're interested in a game and this site says it's takes more than ten hours to beat, don't buy it. You can make an exception for a major release like TOTK, but don't make it for something like Octopath Traveler 2. I'd definitely wait on reviews for games as well. Source: 10 months ago

Honestly it's been so long since I've played most games I don't remember how long they take to beat (not that all of them have in-game clocks anyway). You could always try putting the names of games into here: https://howlongtobeat.com/. Source: 10 months ago
Yes, I am looking at it in terms of numbers. 2 has more areas, each with multiple caves with many multiple floors. while yes, the 66 fruit are spread out more, they are all in the main level (as opposed to 2 having them in the main level and sublevels of the caves.) it having 201 treasures as opposed to 3's 66 does indeed equate to longer gameplay in this case as there is much more to collect spread out over...
