Have you considered using something that media creators use like Hedge Canninster? https://hedge.video/hedge I don't think it can do the sorting you want according to your criteria but at least it would help out with basic organization. Source: over 2 years ago
For mission-critical transfers I use apps like Hedge or Carbon Copy Cloner but those aren't really built for day-to-day transfers either, and they're not super quick to set up. Source: almost 3 years ago
