I've read the study from health.com. I'm not impressed with their methodology: They do an incredibly poor job of control groups. It's even in the research you cite. Source: about 1 year ago
I think this subreddit is subject to this in a big way right now. For instance: a very neutral article I posted from health.com has a 50% downvote rate. It's almost as if people are in here just downvoting literally everything to keep it from popping up on Google... Source: about 1 year ago
It could be a wholly new ingredient that hasn't been used before, and no one talked about it for some reason. That's pretty unlikely though. I think that health.com simply got its facts wrong. Source: over 1 year ago
These sound like pretty generic requests (in a good way — no specialty therapy needed to focus on interpersonal relationships), so you probably just have to see if the therapist gels with you. Go for ease of location and peruse some profiles to start. If money is an object, well then, you’re more limited. If you are open to online, betterhelp.com is completely virtual sessions that might be more affordable…... Source: almost 2 years ago
I had been interested in a galacatagogic beer with a lot of herbs, but generically the effect of having a small amount of beer in your blood system can change the flavor of the milk and reduce the amount a newborn might feed. My partner quite enjoyed lactation cookies. I don't remember her recipe but there's a writeup from health.com that might be helpful. Source: over 2 years ago
It's complicated and health.com has a good article about this. Source: over 2 years ago
We should add the word "significant" in your initial statement, because we could argue farting affects our physiology, but obviously that's not clinically significant in any way. You stated wearing masks will cause tachycardia and vasodilation - which was not supported with regular mask use. I even included studies that looked at N95s and during intense exercise, which directly contradict your sources. And we... Source: over 2 years ago

Some examples: "Sociopaths lie as easily as they breathe. My ex was a master wordsmith and actor. I would need a thousand pages to go into every falsehood he uttered, but here is a perfect example. When we had been dating for seven months, a woman contacted me via email with a short note and screenshots of text messages of their conversations and photos of them together and of his dog. Guess who I believed? Him.... Source: almost 3 years ago
And would be so kind as to explain how busness insider is somehow connected to jemanetwork and health.com? You can't just claim all my sources are wrong and provide zero counter evidence. Source: almost 3 years ago
No one tried to charge me anything for it. I found this on health.com so it looks like it's not completely free. Also my area doesn't have any walk-in places. "Some vaccine providers may charge the patient an administration fee, but even that cost is supposed to be covered by your insurance company or, in the case of those who are uninsured, by the Health Resources and Services Administration's Provider Relief Fund". If you look at the same health.com article you linked to, it also says: "...the CDC is still recommending that fully vaccinated people follow its COVID-19 safety guidelines, which include avoiding medium- or large-sized gatherings and wearing a mask in public. Especially because, while public health experts believe that the latest study suggests that vaccinated people can't pass on the virus since they do not... Source: about 3 years ago
Podcast is interesting, as is YouTube. Step one IMO if you're even thinking about competing on Google would be to search for any and all variations of questions about the medical condition, and see if there's a single site on the first page (let alone the top 5) that isn't Healthline, WebMD, medicalnewstoday, health.com, several big healthcare providers, etc. Source: about 3 years ago
