• Anyone else not able to access 4K content on MAX?

  No. I got my sub directly from HBO. Are you checking your sub on max.com? If you are and it isn't saying "Legacy Ad-Free" then that's why. I'm not really sure how they handled subs through 3rd party though and it's possible those were never going to get legacy features. Source: 11 months ago

• Help! Max app STILL crashing on launch on Chromebook

  Same here, it works if you leave it on phone size. Changing the size under resize or picking Tablet causes it to crash whenever you open it. It does work in the chrome web browser just going to max.com. Cleared all the app memory still fails. When I was using the old "HBO MAX" app it worked just fine. Source: 11 months ago

  I also had this problem. Couldn't sign in from Apple TV or the iPhone. So I tried on max.com and it worked, then I logged in to the apps from the computer. Try that. Source: 11 months ago

  I get mine from ATT and it forces a redirect online from hbomax to max. Login worked fine though. As a developer, I know it's not as easy as replacing the end point for "hbomax.com" to "max.com". All sorts of end points may have been changed. The JSON structure could be wonky as hell with the inclusion of Discovery. Security could be extremely different.   I tried MAX.com this am and logged in with my regular credentials. When I hit the "Start Streaming" button, it clicks, but nothing happens. The same behavior is on my PC (multiple browsers), GGwGTV, and phone (S21+, where I am getting error "Something went wrong, please try again" [sic]).   Google search says the entire URL is https://www.hbomax.com. So I tried that with Chrome. Google likes to replace http://www. With a lock. So with them, you see a lock and after it hbomax.com. Source: about 1 year ago

  You did it through hulu didnt you? You cant purchase hbo max through hulu then use hulu, you have to log into hbomax.com with the login with hulu option. Live tv is a hulu add on, not an hbo add on. Source: almost 2 years ago
