I know some people can get mods working on their Deck just fine, though most guides I can find assume you already have a Windows desktop to build your mod list and load order, essentially just copying the entire Skyrim/FO directory to your Deck.   Kubuntu is working great for me so I have no desire to switch right now. However I will say that when I was younger I had a serious distros hopping problem. There was a time period that I changed distros every month. I have used Ubuntu, Fedora, opensSUSE, Mandriva, manjaro, puppy Linux (for a very old laptop), neon, and that's just what I can think of off the top of my head. Pretty much any disto that existed...
