Rockstargames.com is a totally different location. Source: about 1 year ago
Yes, so I have figured this much out, my xfinity home network won't connect to social club the signin nor the xbox won't join GTA online. rockstargames.com itself has different IP address than social club and signin which are nearly identical. Source: about 1 year ago
*rolls eyes...Its a better start than just flipping on and off settings until something changes...Like I can tracert to rockstargames.com can see my ISP, then the cogent then Akamai so it all works as expected. Source: about 1 year ago

Pardon me for not doing a school project to ensure I am safe to load a game lol. This was the first time I visited this sub because I did not find anything related to my issue because neither Steam nor rockstargames.com has any warning. Even the support did not give any help after almost a week. But sure, we are all stupid for not google-ing "am I allowed to play gta online on PC today?". Source: about 1 year ago
So I just got an email from rockstar stating that my password got reset because of suspicious login attempts so I tried opening the game to see whats up but I cant get past the social club since I got that "ufortunately we failed to fetch an essential asset" error from social club/launcher login. I also tried logging in through the site and I cant get the sign in site to open up(but I still can open... Source: over 1 year ago
Have tried changing DNS servers, but no success. rockstargames.com works, but clicking on login (accessing their social club etc) doesn't resolve. Weirdly, I can access the same URLs on my mobile on Airtel 4G. Source: over 1 year ago
I know my login details are correct because I can sign in to rockstargames.com and I even reset my password, but whenever I open the Rockstar Games launcher or try to launch GTA5 from Steam, and I attempt to sign in, it gives me the error "Could not create a sign in token. Please try again later. If this error persists, contact Rockstar Games Support". Source: over 1 year ago
Socialclub.rockstargames.com is not letting me trough, but rockstargames.com does let me in. Looks like some kind of Parental Control thing, but I have non such thing. Source: almost 2 years ago
What actually happened, was on October 25th, 2011 at 12pm BST. Rockstar games tweeted #GTAV along with a shortened link to rockstargames.com. The Rockstar page simply had the GTA V logo and "TRAILER 11.02.11". Source: almost 2 years ago
You have the IP of their matchmaking servers? You expect to tracert past their firewall? You just pick up a "networking for dummies" book or something? Spoiler alert, rockstargames.com is not where their GTA servers are hosted. Source: about 2 years ago
They label URLs/Applications with different classifications so that instead of you blocking rockstargames.com and 7000 other urls/applications you can do it by a reputation instead. In this case, ricky applications. Source: over 2 years ago
I have a problem with launcher, I literally can't login and I can't open social club/launcher websites, it says that the site took to long to respond, on the other hand I can open rockstargames.com and shop/newswire and that, I just cant open social club and launcher sites. On the launcher when I open it it says "Offline mode: Could not establish connection" and the message in red box below. I tried literally... Source: over 2 years ago
Nice how they pulled the pc version from the website on rockstargames.com, now it only shows the console versions available for purchase. What the effin fuck are they doing? Jack squat. Source: over 2 years ago
You should try to restart your device unplug it or take out the battery then restart it if not still contact rockstargames.com hope this helps lol. Source: over 2 years ago
Whenever I try to start the game it throws me out saying that the game can't be started in offline mode, I tried logging in to rockstargames.com through chrome but even the sign-in page is not loading, tried using another browser, flushing the DNS, checking drivers but nothing is working for me. Report to rockstargames.com not here. Source: almost 3 years ago
They didn't have to pay for the epsilon website, as rockstargames.com still exists and it was just part of that. Source: about 3 years ago
