• Update: Important improvement on the way!

• Routes partially or completely disappear

  I spent a TON of time accurately making some long routes (on gaiagps.com) and now I see most are gone completely and others have large segments missing ! Anyone else have this happen ? (OSX and IOS). I opened a ticket but no response yet. Source: almost 2 years ago

• Why No Gaia on Chromebooks / Chrome OS?

  The Gaia GPS app can only be installed from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. On other devices, you can access your maps and data on gaiagps.com while connected to the internet. Source: over 2 years ago

• Recorded distance almost always short

  However upon tracking the hike the mileage came out to 9.9 miles (at gaiagps.com and also in app). Upon downloading the GPX file and opening it in a gps program on my computer the mileage is shown as 10.5 miles. Uploading to Caltopo also shows 10.5 miles. Source: over 2 years ago

• Microsoft surface compatibility

  Can confirm what u/Dickbutt_4_President said. The app is only available on iOS and Android. So gaiagps.com is your only option when using a laptop/surface/windows device. Source: over 2 years ago

  On gaiagps.com, the maximum number of waypoints that shows is 100 if the zoom level is < 14, or 500 otherwise. Source: about 3 years ago
