Another thing to think about is taking advantage of a free Stripe account, and creating products, with a free payment links to start accepting payments for products without a website. You could build a free website with framer.com quickly and just not pay for a domain. There are a million site builders but framer is one of the best. Source: over 2 years ago

I preach Framer too, it is a great website builder however it doesn't provide a way for site visitors to add their own content or create new entries. You most likely will need to find a web developer that can build you a custom website. Source: over 2 years ago

It seems the type of content it supports is quite limited. Like something you would use for a minimalist journal. If it could replicate something like [https://framer.com/ Framer] I'd be all ears. - Source: Hacker News / over 3 years ago
Thank you!! I made it on framer.com/ where you can do some very cool animations! Source: over 3 years ago
I don't think so. Your best bet is to redo your design on Framer. If you're not that attached to your design you can also a purchase a Webflow/Framer template and just modify the contents. 3rd option is to hire a dev to build it for you. Source: over 3 years ago

Framer has emerged as a noteworthy player in the landscape of design and website building tools, boasting a robust feature set that appeals to both novice users and seasoned designers. The platform originally began as a JavaScript library and has evolved into a comprehensive tool that facilitates creating beautiful, responsive websites and prototypes with a no-code approach. It competes with established platforms like Webflow, InVision, and WiX, by offering unique capabilities that blend ease of use with powerful design functionalities.
Framer's evolution from a basic JavaScript library into an all-encompassing design tool is lauded by many in the industry. With a focus on enabling users to build dynamic, fast websites, Framer is more than just a toolโit's described as an entire platform supporting the web design journey. This transformation underscores its adaptability and commitment to catering to the evolving needs of web designers.
Public opinion underscores Framer's strength in prototyping and design, making it a robust alternative to platforms like Figma and InVision. The tool's ability to create nearly finished product-like prototypes is particularly appreciated, though it is also noted for its steep learning curve. Users emphasize the need for a fundamental understanding of design principles to harness Framer's full potential effectively.
Framer leverages responsive design through features like breakpoints and extensive no-code positioning options, allowing users to customize components such as navigation bars, badges, and sidebars. This adaptability ensures websites built with Framer are optimized for various devices, a critical factor highlighted in recent reviews and articles.
Beyond its design capabilities, Framer is gaining recognition for its CMS functionality. While traditionally seen as a design tool, Framer is now compared to robust platforms like WordPress, albeit with a streamlined approach free from the clutter of plugins and themes. This functionality broadens its utility, making it a viable option for portfolio websites and other content-driven projects.
Framer's market presence is expanding, appealing to individual designers and small design teams more than large organizations. However, Framer's clientele does include design teams at major tech companies, such as Google, Uber, Facebook, and Dropbox, pointing to its credibility and effectiveness in high-performance environments.
User sentiment reflects a positive reception of Framer's ease of use and the quality of websites that users can produce. The platform is frequently praised in community forums for its flexibility, affordability, and ability to turn designs into live websites without extensive coding knowledge. This sentiment suggests that both beginners and experienced designers find value in Framer's offerings.
In summary, Framer is positioned as a powerful and versatile tool in the design and website building domain. Its emphasis on responsive design, no-code solutions, and evolving capabilities make it a strong contender among tools like Webflow, Figma, and WordPress. Despite its learning curve, Framer's ability to deliver high-quality prototypes and responsive websites ensures its continued relevance and popularity among designers and developers.
