There are a few others like frame.io and moxion as well. - Source: Reddit / about 15 hours ago
Whenever I render my footage, that I've carefully colour graded, it looks fine played back in VLC, and matches my program monitor in Premiere, in Quicktime it looks less saturated and less contrasty (I've read a lot about QuickTime gamma issues, and not too bothered about this part) and crucially when I deliver on to youtube or frame.io I get the same issue as with quick time. Weirdly if I take a snapshot from VLC... - Source: Reddit / about 15 hours ago
This frame.io looks very interesting, I will definitely show it to the editors. As for LucidLink, I was originally thinking of sync, maybe mega. What does LucidLink offer over those if you mind me asking? - Source: Reddit / 3 days ago
Some of my clients use vimeo and insist I upload to their account instead of my frame.io account. I personally hate it, but they seem to like it. - Source: Reddit / 3 days ago
Frame.io without download permissions. There are still ways around it, but you could also make anything effectively unusable by the client by slapping a big watermark on it. - Source: Reddit / 5 days ago
Except when my timeline auto-populates with comments, the timestamps are wrong. The markers in Premiere are 8 seconds behind where they appear on the same sequence in the Frame.io extension. I cannot tell if this is a problem with the extension, or with Premiere. I've made sure that the timeline and the sequence on Frame are the same length. I would attach screenshots to show the discrepancy, but Reddit still does... - Source: Reddit / 8 days ago
I'm looking for a project management tool for a video marketing agency. I want to create tasks, and collaborate and review videos like you can on frame.io and one know of anything like this? - Source: Reddit / 10 days ago
Does anyone have experience (either as a festival programer or filmmaker) with frame.io as the hosting site of a film festival submission? I've used it for 9 submissions of my feature-length doc thus far, due to the massive storage and sleek presentation style. Simply curious if anyone has insight into whether this should affect a festival's decision... Thanks in advance! - Source: Reddit / 13 days ago
ProductionHub An oldie but a goody. We always need to find some specialized talent quickly that can help get a shot, do a quick edit, add a specific special effect that we’re struggling with, translation, anything. When projects pile up we need to tap into the gig economy and find specific talent quickly and the hub remains our go to place to find help, quick. And when you pair that up with trello, media shuttle... - Source: Reddit / 14 days ago
Would love if I could get some opinions on a work laptop! My two options that my company gave me are Lenovo P14s Gen 3 or Dell Precision 5570. My work involves me handling large excel/csv files, tableau workbooks, powerbi dashboards, reviewing digital creative assets (.psd files, frame.io, managing dropbox files), workfront. I don't have a ton of details that were given to me other than the specs provided below... - Source: Reddit / 15 days ago
This is really neat. You have done a great job with this. It's like the answer to frame.io but for audio. - Source: Reddit / 24 days ago
Frame.io because it allows them to note it then you can export the notes to your timeline. - Source: Reddit / 25 days ago
Yeah, we use frame.io for our internal process. It works really really well. Not even that expensive since only editors need "seats". - Source: Reddit / 25 days ago
I agree with others saying frame.io is the way to expedite the feedback process. I've used it for a few projects and my last client didn't want to use it and it was ridiculous how difficult it made reviews. Especially a bigger company such as yours with a marketing department, it's worth the money ten times over. It makes finding the exact place they are referring to within a spot super easy and there are so... - Source: Reddit / 30 days ago
Hey y'all I'm having an issue with frame.io where it doesn't seem to be counting about 300 gb of empty space I have on my sdd, so it won't let me dl these project files. I've got 700+ gb empty and the dl is 500gb, but it's telling me I only have 220gb of space available. Any ideas on how to fix this? I've tried uninstalling/reinstallling, clearing everything I can off my drive, etc. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
I haven't hired one yet, but I am in the process of doing it. You can help your editor deliver best results by a) showing editing examples you like b) giving them access to a b-roll library c) using a tool like frame.io to give active feedback during the process. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
For really good, a FrameIO Presentation link with download enabled (https://frame.io). It's included with Premiere Pro. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
That sounds kinda weird. Are they not communicating with each other? The way we do it is the cut is uploaded to frame.io and every exec can see each other's timecoded notes. If there are different preferences, they usually resolve them between themselves. Also, there's always THE exec who can put his foot down anyway. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
We had suggestions from our users about uploading and transcoding speed. We fixed it and compared it to frame.io. It will be great to get feedback from new users or frame.io users. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
He got the video from frame.io and I gave access to him using the squeezed lemon email. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
I'm wanting to use Frame.io with DaVinci Resolve 18.1.2 on Mac OS Montery but it's not under the preferences --> Internet Accounts. Only YouTube, Vimeo, Twitter, and Dropbox. I feel like a crazy person. I uninstalled DR and reinstalled it. It's still missing. Help! - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
