Most web browsers have a quick proxy switcher extension and I recommend you use that if you do tunnel your traffic over ssh. My personal favorite is FoxyProxy. Consider using the FoxyProxy browser extension. You won't need to use proxychains command to start firefox every time, can setup multiple proxy settings (like for Burpsuit, ZAP, TOR, etc...) and change between then with a simple click. Https://getfoxyproxy.org/. Source: over 2 years ago
