• Advice request: What's the simplest way to provide an email subscription feature on my personal website?

  I've looked into follow.it, since that's what Coding Horror uses, and that looks pretty darn close. One issue there I'm trying to figure out is I'd like to avoid putting the entire blog content on another site, but rather direct people back to my site, and it looks like the entire blog post goes on that site. • Alternatives to social media?

  Definitely, I think inoreader is great. You have to pay to have the email digest feature, but you could just get in the habit of checking inoreader once a day. There's another one called follow.it that offers the same feature for free, but I've had a lot of reliability issues (things not being sent) so I can't vouch for that. Source: over 2 years ago

  By full content, I mean the full content in the RSS feed, which for blogs means the full article. I don't how it would work for YouTube videos though as YouTube doesn't support RSS properly. In any case, you can contact the follow.it folks and they'll help you out. Source: over 2 years ago

  I think the report (on follow.it) said something about pressure in his spine, which was obviously exacerbated by him flying. All in all the poor bloke seems to be somewhat buggered. Source: almost 3 years ago
