But luckily there are some tools to make this much more easily searchable, I've been using Finestra Health although their range is limited (there's a map on the site) but they seem to be expanding quickly. It's a free and easy way to make sure you're not getting screwed. Source: over 1 year ago
Others have created some tools to make this searchable, I've been using Finestra Health although they're not everywhere yet(check the map) but they are expanding quickly. It's basically a free search engine. Super easy. Source: over 1 year ago
Last month, I posted here about a project that I had been working on with some friends: a search engine where anyone can see how much they may be charged for medical procedures. It uses over 1 million data points from 50 hospitals all across NYC (and the surrounding area). Source: almost 2 years ago
The site has a map that says its currently available in Boston, NYC, Chicago, San Fran, and LA but it seems to be growing. (I don’t remember seeing LA there when I checked on it yesterday.) Being able to find this info (and maybe shop around for the best price) will be so useful. Source: almost 2 years ago
