I also agree with what you say about the cost. I’d love to have more art in my home - real paintings, not cheap prints from Fine Art America etc. - but even local artists here in my decaying minor city in the rust belt charge $400 and more for a canvas. I'm more of a illustrator (digital, ink, markers, stylized art) but I came across Fine Art America which seems to be the Fine Art version of Red Bubble. https://fineartamerica.com/ It's a print on demand site, which might be ok to look into if you want to sell prints of your existing work.
