Yup, two actually, but you should've had it enabled before you lost your device. There's the Google one, you can go on google.com/android/find, log into the same google account you were using on that device, and it will provide you with a few options (besides locating it): make it ring, lock it (and also set up a message that will display on the lockscreen), or erase it, and there's the Samsung one... It unlocks your phone remotely when you forget your unlock method. If you use this function, all of the screen lock information (Pattern, PIN, Password, and Biometrics) on your phone will be deleted. First of all I'm sorry for your loss. Before wiping, do you know her Google or Samsung account details? Because if so, you may be able to change the lockscreen PIN, if you have her Samsung account then go to the Find My Mobile site, sign in, and you should be able to connect (assuming its on a WiFi network or has mobile internet), then remove the lockscreen from there.
